The Flower Challenge | For You Tag

Hello there, today I am delighted to be Guest Designing for The Flower Challenge. This month's challenge is Anything But A Card. I decided to create a tag for the challenge as I love creating them. I had originally thought of creating a Christmas tag but I absolutely love the mini floral images from Clearly Besotted and they are the perfect size for tags.

I started off by cutting a tag using the scallop top tag from the Clearly Besotted Tag Along Die Collection. I stamped the sunflowers from the Floral Fancy set on to this using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. I then stamped the sentiment (from the same set) on to the top left hand corner. The whole tag was then coloured using Copic Markers. I added some colourless blender dots on to the background to give it some texture.

I also added some glitter dots on the centres of the sunflowers using the Chocolate Copic Spica pen. I added some Doodlebug twine through the top and then finish off with a few Ice Cube Jewels from Lucy's Cards.

Tag You're It! Featured Artist

Hello there, today I have the absolute pleasure of being the Featured Artist over at Tag You're It.

If you haven't heard of the challenge, it is where a designer makes a clean and simple tag or card to share with the rest of the design team and anyone playing along. The participants then make another tag or card based on that tag. I was kindly asked if I would like to be the guest artist and make tag for everyone else to be inspired by.

I started off by cutting the Clearly Besotted Rounded Tag from white cardstock. I then took the Gerberra image from the Miniature Florals Collection stamp set and stamped this on the tag using black ink. The flower was then coloured using Copic Markers. For the background, I coloured the whole area with shades of blue and then went in with the Copic Colourless Blender to add some dots for texture.

I then took the sentiment, from the Clearly Besotted A Little Sentimental set, and stamped this on to a piece of white cardstock with more black ink. This was then cut out and added to the tag with foam tape. To finish off, I added some black twine through the top of the tag.

Less Is More | 4th Birthday

Hello there, today I have the absolute pleasure in representing Clearly Besotted Stamps Guest Designing for Less Is More. LIM is a great challenge with an amazing Design Team, including the lovely and super talented Sarah, who kindly asked me to take part. Today they are celebrating their 4th Birthday and have asked lots of regular sponsors to take part in their celebrations. The challenge this week is to use the colours pink and grey.

For my card today, I am of course, using Clearly Besotted products. I first took the Rounded Tag die and cut this with white cardstock. I then stamped the balloons from the It's Your Birthday set on to it using two shades of pink ink. The sentiment, from the new Wild Thing stamp set, was stamped in black and I have threaded some twine through the top.

I then took an A2 card base and added a strip of grey polka dot paper to the right side. I also added a panel of white to the left with foam tape. The tag has been adhered on top with more foam tape and the balloons embellished with clear Wink of Stella. I finished off the card by adding a few Doodlebug Sprinkles.

Clearly Besotted Challenge | Halloween or Autumn

Hello there and welcome to another Clearly Besotted Challenge. The theme this month is Halloween or Autumn. For my project this month I went with the Halloween theme and made a little treat bag. I tend to make these most years and I think it is a cute little way to give sweets.

My treat bag was cut using the Cricut Explore using one of the designs from the bags, tags, boxes & more collection. I cut it on some lovely Bazzill cardstock which has spider webs glazed on it (but is now sadly retired). I then went to work decorating it.

I used the new Halloween Spirit stamp set and stamped the sentiment using VersaMark ink and then heat embossed in white. I then took one of the dies from the Lovely labels die collection and cut it out and added some TH Distress Inks in Spiced Marmalade and Dusty Concord to it. The label has been added to the bag with black foam tape.

I then took the little bat image from the set, stamped it three times and fussy cut out. These have had a little coating of clear WOS before being adhered to the bag with more foam tape. To finish it off I added a little twine through the handles.

Have A Great Day

Hello there, good morning! I am a little late to the party with this one but here is my card for lasts week's CASE Study #200 Challenge. I loved Shari Carroll's card so I had to take part (even being late!).

I have first taken a white CS panel and added a circle die cut using the SSS Cake & Congrats Die Collection from AE Sorbet paper. I have then cut a little banner edge from the same paper using the CBS Tag Along Die Collection, this has been added to the top of the panel.

I have added the panel with foam tape on to a white card base. The sentiment from the CBS A Little Sentimental set has been stamped and cut in a strip and popped over the base. The flower has been stamped from the CBS Pretty Petals Plus stamp set using SSS Mint ink and then cut using the matching die set. A dash of WOS added on top followed by some Doodlebug sequins and MME enamel dots.

Thanks so much for visiting me today, I hope you are having a lovely week so far. Have a great day!

A Touch Of Turquoise

Hello there, when I saw the new challenge over at Less Is More this week is A Touch Of Turquoise, I knew it was one I really wanted to try and take part in. I love the colour and all it's variations so I had a play with my favourite TH Distress Ink colour - Peacock Feathers. As the current challenge over at The Card Concept is a butterfly theme I thought I would combine them (I am using the CAS style). I cut a Clearly Besotted Elegant Butterfly from watercolour paper and then added the ink on top with a blending tool. I then thoroughly sprayed and splattered with pearl mist - so pretty!
