Tickled Pink

Hello there, today I have a card to share to send to a friend who is expecting. I thought the Clearly Besotted Tickle My Fancy Stamp Set would be perfect for it.

I started off with a panel of white cardstock that was cut using the largest of the SSS Stitched Rectangle dies. I then took the feather images from the stamp set and stamped these using pink, yellow and blue inks.

The sentiment, from the same set, was stamped on top with black ink. The panel was adhered to a white A2 card base with foam sheet. To finish off, I went over the feathers using the clear Wink of Stella brush pen.

New Home

Hello there, today I have a new home card to share. I thought it would be fun to use the meerkats from the Clearly Besotted Got Your Back stamp set.

I started off with a panel of white cardstock which was cut using the rectangle Femme Frame from ME. I then stamped the meerkat on to it using black ink. He/she was masked off and then the sold sign and the house/meerkat hole were stamped to the side.

The mask was removed and I coloured the image. The sentiment, from the same set, was stamped below. The image panel was then adhered to a kraft A2 card base with foam sheet.

Just One More Card Blog Hop | Celebrating Kindness

Hello there, today I have the absolute pleasure in celebrating kindness with Julia Altermann. Julia recently got to 10k subscribers on her You Tube channel and she wanted to thank them, as well as all of her blog, Instagram and Facebook followers. She has invited a whole group of super talented card makers and designers, as well as the amazing sponsors to celebrate the kindness of this community.

You should have arrived here from the amazing Laura, but if you get lost along the way, I have a full list of participants below. For my card, I thought it would be fun to CASE one of Julia's cards. I was the very honoured recipient of this card from Julia. I absolutely love it and wanted to re-create it in my own way.

I started off with a piece of Arches cold pressed watercolour paper. I then took the Altenew Peony Bouquet stamp set and stamped the peonies with Squeezed Lemonade Distress ink. I masked the first one and then stamped the second beside, as well as the leaves. The leaves were stamped with Twisted Citron Distress Ink. I then coloured/painted the rest of the image using Distress Inks. I used Squeezed Lemonade, Mustard Seed and Spiced Maralade on the flowers, and Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn for the leaves.

Once dry, I ran the piece through my Cuttlebug using the largest of the SSS Stitched Rectangle dies. The sentiment, from the Altenew Sentiments & Quotes stamp set, was stamped below the image in black ink. The panel was adhered to a black A2 card base with foam sheet. To finish off, I added a few Sparkling Clear sequins from Pretty Pink Posh.

Deer To Me

Hello there, today I have a cute card to share using the adorable Woodland Kisses stamp set from Clearly Besotted.

I started off by stamping the deer's and the log on to some white cardstock using memento Tuxedo Black ink. These were coloured using Copic Markers and then cut out using the matching dies.

I then took a 4"x5" white card base and drew on some grass with Copic Markers. I also added in a faint sky with blue Copics. The sentiment, from the same set, was stamped below with black ink. The log was adhered to the card base with tape runner and then the deer's with foam tape.

I have to say, I do like how this card came out. I wasn't sure while I was making it that I would! I am really enjoying creating some simple copic coloured cards, as part of the 30 day colouring challenge. I am colouring the images in on the day and then later making them into cards. Are you taking part in the challenge? I hope you are enjoying it as much as I am! Thanks so much for visiting me today. I hope you have a fabulous day!

VIDEO | Ranunculus with Inktense

Hello there, today I have a card to share using the Beautiful Bouquets Ranunculus stamp set from WPlus9. I have used this set a few times now with different colouring mediums. Today I am using it with Derwent Inktense blocks and pencils.

I started off with a piece of Arches Cold Pressed watercolour paper. I stamped the image on to it using Archival ink and my Mini MISTI (it's great for stamping multiple times on to watercolour paper). I then coloured the image using Inktense blocks and pencils. I started off with light layers and built up from there. You can see a speed paint video of me colouring it in below.

Once the image was dry, I cut the piece down and adhered it to a black A2 card base with ATG. I then took the WPlus9 Hand Lettered Hello die and cut this three times from black cardstock. I layered these up and then adhered the piece to the card. To finish off, I added a few PPP Sparkling Clear sequins and a coat of clear Wink of Stella on the hello.

Here is the video showing how I coloured the image in. I hope you are not getting bored of these!

Thank you so much for visiting me today. I hope you are having a great week so far. We are having a heat wave here in the UK and I know I shouldn't complain, but it is way too hot for me! I am melting! Anyway, I hope you have a lovely day, whatever you may be doing ... I'll be sitting in front of a fan eating an ice lolly ;)
