Antique Engraved Butterfly

Hello there, today I have a card to share using the same Chevron Rectangle stencil that I used on this card that I made using the Cricut Explore. This time I have used the stencil with embossing paste and kept the paste a little but more rustic than I usually do. On a separate sheet of CS I have stamped the butterfly from the HA Antique Engravings stamp set with TH Peacock Feathers Distress Ink and then gone over it with a waterbrush. Once dried I also went over it with the clear WOS brush. The butterfly has then been cut out and added to the embossing paste panel.

 

I have then stamped the sentiment from the HA Classic Messages set and cut this out. This has been added to the panel with clear foam tape. The panel has been added to a white card base with foam tape and then I have added a few Doodlebug sequins and rhinestones.

Rosie Posie Watercolour

Hello there, sorry I haven't been around for a few days. I have been creating but nothing I can share with you just yet. I have a card today though that was inspired by the recent OCC Watercolour For Card Makers. I have taken a piece of TH Watercolor CS and cut it using the ME Femme Frames rectangle die. I have then stamped the flowers and leaves from the PTI Rosie Posie stamp set in various TH Distress Inks and I have gone over it with water and a brush to blend and then gone in with a little bit more colour on top.

 

Once dried I have added some clear WOS. The sentiment from the PTI Fillable Frames set is stamped below and then I have added some rhinestones. The panel has been added to a pink card base with foam tape.

Quatrefoil Background

Hello there, today I am catching up on some Online Card Classes watercolor for card makers homework. I wanted to make a resist background so I first stamped the Impression Obsession Quatrefoil stamp on some watercolour cardstock with Versamark ink and heat embossed with white EP. I then went over the piece with watercolours in purple and pink hues. Once dried, I went over the piece with a clear WOS brush in the coloured parts.

 

I then adhered this to a white card base with foam tape. I die cut a SSS Tilted banner from white CS and stamped the sentiment from the CBS Lovely Labels set on top. The right side has been cut down and then added to the card with foam squares. I have finished off with some Doodlebug sequins and gems.

Pandamonium

Hello there, as soon as I saw this super cute set from Mama Elephant I knew I wanted it but I did hold out to see if I could resist but of course, I didn't resist for long! For my card I have first taken a piece of white CS and cut it out with the rectangle from the ME Femme Frames set. I have then stamped the cut panda on top and coloured lightly with Copic Markers.

 

 

I have then stamped the balloon and string from the CBS Make A Wish set and the sentiment is from the Lovely Labels set. I have added a little clear WOS to the balloon and then added the panel to a Bazzill Cardshoppe Robin's Egg card base with foam tape.
