New Home

Hello there, today I have a new home card to share. I love these landscape dies from Memory Box, I think they make beautiful scenes.

I started off by taking a piece of white cardstock and cutting this with the MB Modern Landscape Border die. I then stamped the sentiment, from the Clearly Besotted A Little Sentimental Set, on top with black ink.

I took a white A2 card base and masked off the bottom part. On the top, I blended over Tumbled Glass, Salty Ocean and Peacock Feathers Distress Inks. I then misted a little Perfect Pearls mixed with water on to this. Once dry, I added the panel on top of the card base with foam tape.

Another simple card but I really like how this came out. I did think it could possibly look a bit Christmassy with the white cardstock being snow, but I liked it for a new home card too. Thanks so much for visiting me today. I hope you have a great day!

Liam Bunny Plushie

Hello there, today I have another felt plushie to share with you. This time using the Plush Liam Bunny die from Memory Box.

I started off by die cutting all the elements twice using felt. I stitched the feet, the ears and the carrot first and then stitched the main bunny's body. I added soft toy filling in all the parts. I used my hot glue gun to add the pads on the bunny's feet.

I then stuck the carrot to the bunny's hands. I added black Doodlebug Sprinkles for the eyes and then cut a little piece of pink felt for the nose and added this with more hot glue. To finish off, I added a white pom pom to the back for his tail.

Easter Egg Plushies

Hello there and happy Good Friday. Today I have something slightly different to share. Yesterday I shared using the SSS Easter Egg die for a shaker, today I am sharing the die used to make felt plushies.

I started off by cutting the egg shape twice from felt and then another piece to use at the bottom. These were stitched together and before closing it up, I added soft toy filling.

I then took the leaves from the same die set and stitched these separately. I also used the Memory Box Plush Flower Buttons and stitched these also, as well as the Plush Little Heart (on one of the eggs). These were then added to the eggs using a hot glue gun.

I think these are so pretty and I am really looking forward to making more for other occasions. It was very therapeutic sitting and stitching them. I hope the recipients like them! Thank you so much for visiting me today, wishing you all a very happy Easter.

Butterfly

Hello there, today I am sharing another of my makes for the Stenciled Online Card Class. Day three was about creating texture with stencils. Debby Hughes made some stunning sample cards using embossing paste. As she is the one that got many of us into using embossing paste, I of course had to have a play and I have CASE's one of her cards.

I have used the SSS Peppermint Stripe Stencil with white embossing paste and added this to one side of the card panel. I love the white on white look. I have cut a Memory Box Vivienne Butterfly from Doodlebug Gumdrop CS and added this to the panel after adding a little Wink Of Stella to it. The sentiment is from the Clearly Besotted Stamps A Little Sentimental set, which has been stamped on to white CS, cut out and popped up on 3D foam. I have then embellished with pearls and sprinkles.
