Update: Change of ISP

I now have my new internet set up and running, sadly not as smoothly as I had hoped but never mind. I have changed my e-mail address (again) which is the new one to contact me on through my profile. I have tried e-mailing people on my list but they haven't all been able to be delivered for some reason so sorry about that. I have been tagged twice this week so will be back with those at some point. I can't say my exam went that well on Monday but at least it was only a practice, I have the proper two tomorrow. Thank you for all your good luck messages, they are really appreciated :0)

Nursing Thanks

This is the card I made for my placement. I finished yesterday but really enjoyed my 10 weeks there. I have a week off for the dreaded exams and then on to my final placement on the 30th. I made this card using my new Stamping Bella stamp, please e-mail Tracy at Dies to Die for for details. I am thinking that I want to look like this bella!!! I have the hair but that's it! LOL I have stamped her out and then coloured with water colour pencils. I have then cut her out and mounted to CS. Added her to card blank which has been covered with blue CS. Craftwork cards message and gem stones added to finish.

Congratulations Vicki

This card was made for Vicki over at Paperlicious Oasis to say congrats and good luck in her new job. I have used the lovely image from Michelle at Planet Pootle (thanks Michelle) it is appropriately named 'Jump for Joy'. I have coloured him in with watercolour pencils and mounted to green card. It has then been added to the card blank which has been covered with paper from the DCWV Spring Stack. A Craftwork Cards message added to finish.

Anniversary Hedgies

This card is for my Aunt & Uncle's Wedding Anniversary. I have stamped the hedgies with Stazon and coloured with water colouring pencils adding touches of glitter to the roses with my Spica glitter pen. I have then cut out and rounded the corners with a punch. This has been mounted with CS then added to base with 3D foam pads. The base has been made by layering CS and Doodlebug paper on to a white card blank with the bottom corner rounded. Greeting printed from PC (thank you to Vicki for the font) cut out and rounded and added to base with a mini heart gem stone.

Happy 21st

I have completely been inspired by a card made by Janet following the Isamaki Sketch for the card below. I have made it for my cousin's 21st on Monday. I have first layered blue CS on to a white card blank then added layers of CS in different shades of blue. I have then coloured Craftwork Cards chipboard numbers with my black Copic marker and added them to one of the layers. The greeting is a Pebbles Inc rub-on and the stars are Sizzlits dies. I have gone round them with a black pen adding little stitches. Two brads to finish.

Father's Day

This is the card I have made for my dad for tomorrow. I have used my new Stampin Up! set 'Cheers To You' which Julie kindly ordered for me. I have stamped out the beer mug with brown ink and coloured it in with my Coloursoft pencils and Sansodor. I have then mounted it to some brown CS. This has been added to base with 3D foam pads. The base has been made by layering up shades of blue CS to a white card blank. I have gone around all the edges and distressed them slightly for a more manly feel! A big thank you to Kerry for the tip with the ruler. I have then stamped the sentiment directly onto the card.

Thank You Pocket Card

I have made this card for my mum to say thank you for my Birthday present. It is my first attempt at making pocket cards using the tutorial from SCS. The first picture shows it when it is all together and the second with the card inside. The base of the pocket has been made from SU! Lavender Lace CS and embellished with Doodlebug Lilac Velvet paper, organza ribbon, Prima Flower and stamped greeting. The card has been made with SU! Whisper White CS and Doodlebug paper. I have added a circle tab to the top embellished with another Prima Flower. I would like to say a big thank you to Vicki for the purple brad I used with the large Prima Flower!

This is the card I made for Sue at Slumber Cards who's Birthday it is today. Happy Birthday Sue, I hope you are having a lovely day! I have stamped the Squeaky Baker stamp with Stazon and then coloured him in with Coloursoft pencils and Sansodor adding glitter again with my Spica pen. I have then mounted him to Gumdrop CS and attached to base with DST. The base has simply been made by layering Lilac CS on to a white card blank. I have added Maya Road velvet flowers to the corner of the image with glitter brads and 3 gem stones to the top right corner. The HB greeting is a Pebbles Inc rub on and I have added her name with Doodlebug alpha rub-ons. I hope she liked it!

Happy Birthday Sarah!

This is the card I made for Sarah at Fluff's Creations for her Birthday yesterday. I hope you had a great day Sarah! First of all, apologies the photo is so dark but was taken quite late at night!! I know Sarah's favourite colour is blue so I thought I would incorporate this with black. I have coloured the beautiful Tilda that Gina sent me (thank you Gina!) with Colourosft pencils and Sansodor and added glitter with my Spica glitter pen. I have then cut her out and mounted to base with 3D foam pads. I have made the base by layering up black CS on to white card blank then running a piece of blue CS through my Cuttlebug using the {surprise surprise} Swiss Dots embossing folder! I have then wrapped a piece of black stain ribbon around the panel and attached to card. I then took some chipboard numbers dunked them in Tacky Glue and then black glitter so they are really sparkly! Finsihed off with a rub-on greeting.

I made this card for the lovely Jo whose Birthday was on Thursday, I hope you had a lovely day Jo. I have coloured in one of the lovely Tilda's that Sue sent me (thank you!) with watercolour pencils and added touches of glitter with my Spica glitter pen. I have then cut her out and mounted her to the base with 3D foam pads. The base has been made by layering up 'Swimming Pool' CS on to a card blank then running a piece of 'Dragonfly' CS through my Cuttlebug using the Swiss Dots (my fave!) embossing folder. I have then simply added 3 Prima flowers with gem stones, more gem stones and a mini message.

Balloon Girl

Unfortunately I am still not feeling too well. I have to go back to the doctors on Thursday, in the mean time I have been signed off work. Therefore, I haven't been able to make any cards recently and not been able to visit people's blogs (except for on my mobile!) sorry. So thought I would share one with you that I made last week for Kitty's Birthday.

I used my new gorgeous Kerryjo stamps. I stamped out balloon girl (that is what I have named her!!) and coloured her in with watercolour pencils adding glitter to the balloons. I have then mounted her to CS and added to base with 3D foam pads. I have made the base by layering black CS on to a card blank and running a peice of pink CS through my Cuttlebug using the Swiss Dots embossing folder this has been added on top of the black. I have then added a Craftwork Cards message (coloured with black ink) and 3 black gem stones to finish. I hope you liked it Kitty!

After making Kitty's one, I liked it so much that I made one in purple too!
