Fairytale Flowers - DTDF Challenge

Hello there, here is my card I have made for latest Die-Ing With A Challenge. The base is made from Bazzill Kraft CS with the two bottom corners rounded. I have then cut three MDT Die-namics Hexagon stax dies from Echo park Sweet Day paper and added these to the base. I have taken the Memory Box Elegant Scrollwork die and cut this from another sheet from the same EP collection and added on top of the hexagons. I have then stamped the sentiment from the Whimsy Stamps Furry Freinds set on one of the hexagons. The Prima Fairytale Flowers have been added and then the card has been finsihed off by adding a little butterfly cut from the Memory Box Butterfly Border die.

I Baked a Cake

Anybody still there? I know it has been a long time ... what with my health, doing two courses at university as well as work and driving lessons, life for me is a bit hectic right now, hence my lack of creating and blogging. First off I hope you are all well? I'm here to share with you the card I have made for my mum's birthday. Yes, I have wiped the dust off my Copics and combined them with my latest goodies from Die to Die for and had a play ...

I have used one of the very cute bear stamps from Lili of the Valley, this is the one with the cat but I have masked him off. I have then coloured with Copics and cut out using one of the new Nestabilities dies, these are called Lacey Circles. I have then added the image to the base with DST. The base has been made by layering MME Lost and Found papers (these are delicious!) to a white card blank. I have then added flowers to the side; the pink ones are Prima Fairytale Roses and the creamy/pinky one is from Wild Orchid Crafts and the stem ones are from my stash. Finshed off some pearlyness and a greeting from the WRS Girly Greetings set.

STAMPS: Lili of the Valley, Wild Rose Studio. INK: Memento Tuxedo Black. CS: Anita's, My Minds Eye. ACCESSORIES: Nestabilities dies, organza ribbon by Ribbon Oasis, pearls from The Hobby House, Copic Markers.

The base is a layer of Bazzill Basics Canvas CS added to a white card blank followed by a layer of Prima Marketing Flights of Fancy Collection Blooming Happiness then another strip of the CS. The larger of the flowers is a Prima Marketing Fairytail Roses, the smaller is from my stash and has been coloured with a Copic to match the image. Good Luck Teddy

This card has been made for one of my mum's work colleagues who is leaving to go to a different department within the same company. I have stamped the Whipper Snapper Li'l Standing Teddy out on to white CS and coloured with Copics {please see below for how I coloured him in} I then stamped the greeting below from the Woodware Mixed Greeting set, mounted to green CS and added to a white square card blank with DST. Ribbon wrapped around {from Dies to Die for} and secured with a button and linen thread. Prima flowers which have been coloured with a Copic marker added with BG pearls. I hope she likes it!

I thought I would show you the way I colour with my Copics:
I first used the darkest of my colours - E57 to where I wanted the darkest shades

I then went over and out a bit with the next darkest shade - E55

I then went over the whole thing with my lightest shade - E53

I then tend to blend in more with the two lightest shades - you can see this on the teddy's arm and legs

I then coloured the scarf and the ground using G40 & G82 - again using the darker shade first

Apologies for the rubbish photos but I hope some of you may have found it helpful!

STAMPS: Whipper Snapper, Woodware. Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black. CS: Craftwork Cards, Bazzill Basics. ACCESSORIES: Dies to Die for ribbon, button from Silly Monkey Crafts, Stampin' Up! Linen Thread, Prima Flowers, Basic Grey Opaline, Copic Markers.
