Easter Bunny

Hello there, I am back with my final Easter card. This one was made for my Nan. I thought I would bust out my neglected Lili of the Valley stamps for this one. I always really enjoy colouring them in, so I don't know why I do not use them more!

I stamped the image called Flower Arranging in black and then did a bit of simple Copic Marker colouring. The sentiment, from the Clearly Besotted All Occasion Sentiments set, was stamped below. I then simply adhered the panel to a white A2 card base with foam tape.

SUPPLIES:
Here are the links to what I have used on the card. Please click the picture to be taken to where I purchased it.

COPIC MARKERS - Bunny: C3, C2, C1, C0, C00, RV11, RV10, RV00. Vase: C00, B00, B000. Flowers: Y38, Y35, YR16, Y15, Y13, Y11, G28, G24, G21. Ground: W3, W1, W0. Shadow: B91, Blender.

Do you have stamps that you neglect by accident? Please tell me, it is not just me! I think I gravitate to clear sets now instead of rubber, maybe that is why. I MUST remember to use them more. Thanks so much for visiting me today and I hope you have a lovely day!

To My Special Mother

Hello there, here is the card that I made for my mum for Mother's Day this year. I wanted to use the LOTV James the Bear as I know my mum likes these images. I have kept it pretty simple by stamping the image and colouring with Copic Markers (adding  a little Glossy Accents to his nose). I have then cut it out using the largest of the Lil' Inker Stitched Rectangle dies. This actually only cuts the stitched lines so I then cut around it with my guillotine. I wanted the card a little bigger than usual so I cut a 12x12" piece of card slightly bigger than the panel. I then added a piece of paper from the Doodlebug Hello Spring Paper Pad on top. The sentiment is from a new Clearly Besotted stamp set which will be released on the 5th April (real sneaky peek there for you!).

Because the card will not fit in a standard sized envelope I decided to use of my SU kraft bags and decorated it. I first took one of the CBS Lovely Labels Dies and cut this from white CS, I then added the SSS Mum die on top. The butterfly has been made by stamping the CBS Elegant Butterflies image on to vellum and embossing with Iridescent Sparkle EP. I have then cut it out with the coordinating die - so pretty IRL!

Blooming Lovely

Hello there, happy Monday to you all! I have wanted to take part in Jen's CAS Mondays with LOTV for a little while now as I love LOTV stamps but don't use them enough and as you know, my style is pretty CAS. So today is the day! I have used the very cute Blooming Lovely stamp for my card and coloured with the usual Copic Markers.

Thank You Bear

Here is a card I made last week for my beautiful friend Sarah. She sent me some gorgeous LOTV stamps (along with a gorgeous card!) and so I used one of the stamps on a card to say thank you to her. This stamp is from the Furry Festive Friends collection but I don't think the flower is overly Christmassy so I think it can be used throughout the year.

Top Chef

It was my brother's birthday yesterday and after racking my brains for weeks on what I should do for his card I finally came up with this. He has been known to throw a BBQ or two so I thought this image would be quite good for him. I have stamped LOTV Top Chef out and coloured him with Copic Markers, cut him out, matted him with Kraft CS and added to base with DST. The base is layers of paper from the SU! Celebrations Collection (available from the lovely Jules) layered up with Bazzill Kraft CS. These have then been added to a white square card blank with 3D foam. I have then stamped the sentiment out from the Ladybug Crafts Ink It's Only Words 1 set on to more Kraft CS and cut out with a Memory Box Primo Label die. I have then added this with 3D foam. Doodlebug Bubble Blue brads added to finish.

STAMPS: Lili Of The Vally, Ladybug Crafts Ink. INK/COPICS: Memento Tuxedo Black/N1, N2, N3, N4, N5 for the bear & BBQ. G40, G82 for the grass. B93, B95, R37 for the apron. E55, E57 for the sausages. Happy Father's Day

Here is the card I have made for my dad this year. Now I don't usually combine a lot of patterned paper together especially bright colours but I saw THIS card by Judy Laing and I loved it! Thank you for the inspiration Judy. I have used LOTV Cheers Bear stamp; stamped him out and coloured with Copics then cut out and added to the base with 3d foam. The base is Echo Park Little Boy Collection added to a white card blank using the same layout as Judy's card. I have then added Stampin' Up! button and stamped the sentiment to finish.

Happy Birthday Sarah!

As you can probably tell from the title of the post this card was made for my friend Sarah. I have used LOTV's Thomas with Champagne stamp which I thought looked a little like her beloved cat Bozzy! I have stamped him out and coloured with Copics adding glitter to the champagne using a Spica pen. I have then cut the image out using a Nestabilities circle and added to the base with 3d foam. The base is a sheet of Memory Box Dots Bluebird paper layered with Doodlebug Bubble Blue CS. I have also added a strip of this down the middle and added teeny tiny SU! pearls coloured with a Copic marker. I have punched out MS Monarch Butterflies using Memory Box Gingham Bluebird paper and added Doodlebug jewels in the centres. Sentiment from the Ladybug Crafts Ink Its Only Words 2 set stamped and cut out using a Nestabilities Label die.

STAMPS: Lili Of The Valley, Ladybug Crafts Ink. CS: Craftwork Cards, Doodlebug Designs, Memory Box. Big Present

Now you may be surprised to know that I love Stampin' Up! products and own a fair amount but for some reason I hardly use them, nope I don't know why either! So a little while ago I put in an order with the lovely Jules and here is a card I have made with some of those products. I have used the very cute LOTV Big Present stamp and coloured with Copics before cutting out using a Nestabilities square die. I have then mounted this with Pear Pizzazz CS and added to base with 3d foam pads. The base is more Pear Pizzazz teamed with Bashful Blue and then a strip from the Celebrations designer paper series. The Hero Arts sentiment stamped then punched out using the Modern Label Extra Large punch also added with 3d foam. Designer buttons with Lined Thread tied around added to finish.

Niece & Nephew

How are we doing? all ready for Christmas? As per usual I am not very organised this year, I still have cards to make but here are the cards I have made for my niece and nephew. I have made easel cards using Nestabilities shapes for the base.

My niece's card uses CC Designs Trim the Tree Emma and coloured with Copics and cut out using Nestabilities Labels Fourteen dies. The snowflake is a MFT Die Namics Let It Snowflake die cut from Bazzill Bling Flirty CS with a pearl in the centre. The snowflake paper is from the Cosmo Cricket Mitten Weather collection. The sentiment is from the CC Designs Amy R Holiday Greetings set. The letters are stamped using a Studio G set and punching out using a mini square punch.

For my nephew's card I have used the very cute LOTV Igloo for Two and also coloured with Copics. The paper on the base is from the Echo Park Wintertime kit. And the rest of the ingredients are the same!

STAMPS: CC Designs, Lili Of the Valley, Studio G. INK: Memento Tuxedo Black. CS: Bazzill Basics, Bazzill Bling, Echo Park, Cosmo Cricket. ACCESSORIES: Nestabilities, My Favourite Things Die-Namics, Melissa Frances Pearls, X Cut mini sqaure punch, Copic Markers.

Best wishes,
