Happy Birthday Vicki

It was the wonderful Vicki's Birthday yesterday and this is the card I made for her. I have followed the Stampin' for the Weekend challenge 15 sketch. I have first stamped the gorgeous CC Designs Swiss Pixie Gretel (available from Dies to Die for) out and coloured her with Copics, I have then cut her out and added to the base with 3d foam pads. The base is simply sheets all from the Basic Grey Bittersweet collection, the circles have been cut using Nestabilities dies. Greeting stamped from the Elzybells Mini Messages A Little Hello set stamped in the corner then ribbon, flowers and pearls added to finish.

Elzybells Challenge 28 - CASEing

The challenge over at Elzybells this fortnight is to CASE a DT members card. For my card I have chosen to CASE a great card by Jeanne, I loved it ever since I saw it! You can see it on THIS post on her blog. I have added Elzybells Kraft CS to a white card blank followed by a strip Bazill brown CS then a strip of Elzybells White Leather CS - I love this, what a loevly texture! I then stamped the tag from the Mini Tag Set on to white card followed by the cake from the Mini Messages - A Little Hello set inside and coloured with Copics. Ribbon (from Dies to Die for) wrapped around and the tag popped behind. Message stamped at the bottom and gem stones added to finish. Thanks Jeanne! Happy Birthday Tracy!

Today is my fab boss and friend Tracy's Birthday today, Happy Birthday hun, I hope you have a lovely day and can I take this opportunity to say you are a fab boss and I love working with you. You have turned Dies to Die for around. So ... for my card I have used the gorgeous CC Designs Swiss Pixies Heidi Among the Flowers stamp and coloured her with Copic markers, added to base with 3d foam pads. The base is a sheet of Bazzill Apricot CS added to a white card blank followed by a sheet of MME Abbey Road paper. Ribbon wrapped around. Pearls added to the image panel and message stamped from the Our Craft Lounge Lil' Pea-Nut set. All the ingredients I have used on this card, apart from the ribbon and pearls, can be purchased from Dies to Die for.

1st Birthday

It was my beautiful Niece's 1st birthday on Tuesday and here is the card I made for her. I have completely 'borrowed' the layout from this fab card by Stacey (I hope you don't mind hun! thank you for the inspiration) I have stamped the very cute elllie stamp out and coloured with Copics adding glitter with my Spica pen on the butterfly. Cut out using Nestie rectangle dies, added to base with DST. The base is layers of DB 'Melon' CS with a layer of Pebbles Inc 'My Baby Girl Flower' paper. Dies to Die for 'Light Coral' ribbon wrapped and tied in a bow with a MME button (also available at DTDF) added to the centre with Scrappers Floss. Pearls added to the corner and greeting stamped (from the Elzybells Mini Messages 'A Little Hello' set). QuicKutz no 1 cut using the Britannia alpha set and added to panel, covered with spica glitter. I hope everyone is having a lovely weekend so far!

Spooktacular Wishes

Today is release day for the new Elzybells stamps - woohoo! Although I have loved working with all the new stamps (of course!) the most fun I had was making these Halloween samples. There is a great Mini Messages clear set and lots of cute individual stamps too.

First up is a cute card using the Pumpkin Girl stamp and also the Seasonal Sentiments clear set. The inside also uses the Mini Messages - Happy Haunting set.

Polar Bear

Don't you just wanna cuddle this little bear?! he is called 'Polar Bear' and another new stamp to be released tomorrow by Elzybells. I have stamped him out and coloured with Copics adding teeny gem stones to the snowflakes/stars. Matted to Gumdrop CS and added to base with 3d foam pads. the base is a sheet of Gumdrop CS added to a white card balnk with a piece of Lilac CS added on top, this has been stamped with the new 'Snowflake Frame' using the new Elzybells inky-dinks Sugar Candy ink. More gems stones added to finish. Hope to see you tomorrow for the release :0)

Teddy & Snowman

Welcome to day three of Elzybells sneak peeks - only more sleep to go till these cuties are released! For todays sneaks I have gone back to the adorable Christmas bears. My first card uses the 'Teddy & Snowman' stamp and the already released 'Everyday Greetings' set. I have stamped the image out and coloured with Copics adding glitter to the snowman's hat; cut out using a Nestabilities circle and added to base with DST. The base is a layer of pink DB CS, a layer of Craftwork Cards snowflake paper on top then a layer of pink DB CS which has been run through my Cuttlebug using the new Ice Crystals embossing folder. 3 snowflakes have been cut using an X Cut punch and added with teeny pearls. Bubble Greetings

For my second sneaks of the new Elzybells release stamps out on Thursday 17th September, I am using the Bubble Greeting set. The first sample is a gift card to go with the card I made for my SIL's Birthday {see post further down} and the second is a simple congratulations card suitable for a male. I apologise for lack of samples for this set due to my recent sickness, but it is fab, believe me! it is part handwritten greetings like what I have used on these cards and the other half is bubble writing and they look fab mixed and matched. Decorating the Tree

For my second Elzybells sneak peek today I am using the 'Teddy Decorating Tree' stamp. I have coloured him in with Copics and then added him to the base with 3d foam pads. The base is simply a piece of Poppy PTI CS and a piece of paper from the Papermania Deack the Halls paper pack added to a white card blank. Message from the PTI Sign Language set and gem stones added to finish. I'd love to have your company tomorrow for more Elzybells sneaks!

Elzybells Beary Christmas

With Sympathy

These are cards that I am sure none of us want to make but needs must. Sadly my mum's uncle died recently and this is the card that will be sent to her aunt. It is a CASE again from this beautiful card made by Nicole Heady. I have first added PTI Aqua Mist CS on to a white card blank then added a layer of Ocean Tides followed by a layer of CWC white pearlescent paper which has had a Magnolia Swirl stamped on it repeatedly using Aqua Mist ink. Aqua Mist ribbon wrapped around and the greeting {from the PTI Mised Messages set} stamped on to the CS and cut out using a Nestabilties Label 4 die - available from Dies to Die for, added with 3d foam. Gem stones added to finish. Sorry the pictures aren't great, it does look pretty in real life!

Anniversary Hearts

The very talented Kerry made this card a while back, I thought it was so stunning that I had to CASE it! Thanks so much for the inspiration Kerry, I hope you don't mind me CASEing it! I have changed the colours and made it into an Anniversary card, I am quite pleased with it {except for the greeting being slightly wonky}. I added a strip of red CS to a white card blank followed by a strip of Doodlebug heart paper {those red flowers are flocked!} and then a strip of white that has been run through my Cuttlebug using the Victoria embossing folder and then added some satin ribbon on top. Hearts cut using a Sizzlits die and added with 3d foam pads. Gem stones added to finish. Greeting stamped from the Woodware 'Tiny Greetings' clear set underneath. This card is made for my cousin and her husband who are celebrating their one year anniversary, I made their Wedding placecards using red & pink and gem stones so I hope they like it and it compliments their memories of their Wedding Day.

Elzybells Challenge - Altered Image

This fortnights challenge over at Elzybells has been set by the fab Steph and it is to alter an image is some way, you can take things away, add your own bits etc. So for my card I have used the 'Teddy Antics' stamp and just used the top teddy with the balloon. I have stamped this out and coloured with Copics, stamped a 1 on the balloon using the 'Bold Alpha' clear set and then cut out and added to a base made from Nestie circles. I have taken the top nestie circle and coloured over with chalk then taken a Nestie Label Six die and masked the shape and added more chalk to make a cloud look. This has then been 3d foamed to the base which is simply a sheet of PTI Bitty Dots Basics paper added to Plum Pudding CS then added to a white card blank, PTI ribbon wrapped around and gem stones added to finish.
