Hi There

Hello there, I hope you had a lovely weekend. How cute is this Gleeful Gardens set from Lawn Fawn? Their latest release was amazing but sadly I couldn't buy everything. I decided on this set as I thought it was so cute and could be used for lots of different occasions.

I first took a panel of white cardstock and cut a circle from this making an aperture. I took some Kraft cardstock and made a frame using two dies from the SSS Stitched Circles die collection. This frame was then added on to the panel. I took a piece of blue paper from the AE Sorbet paper pad and stamped the sentiment from the LF Chit Chat stamp set on to it (I had to mask off the speech bubble that is around it on the stamp).

I then took some green polka dot paper from the LF Let's Polka collection and cut this using the ME Landscape Border Trio dies to make some hills. This, along with the sky piece, were adhered to a white A2 card base. The panel was adhered over the top which has a layer of fun/funky foam in between for dimension.

I then took the Gleeful Gardens set, stamped the two mushrooms/toadstools and the hummingbird. These were coloured with Copic Markers and I added a little Wink Of Stella to the mushrooms, as well as Glossy Accents on the spots. The elements were added to the little scene with foam pads.

CB Teasers | Bookworm Additions

Hello there, if you watched my Clearly Besotted release video yesterday, you will have seen this cute little bookmark. It is part of the new release that went live yesterday evening. I ran out of posting days for the teasers but I thought I'd still share it with you today.

I took a piece of paper from the Doodlebug Kraft In Colour - Colour collection and made a bookmark using these directions. I then stamped the bookworm from the new Book Worm Additions set. I coloured him using Copic Markers and then cut him out using the already released Book Worm Die Collection. I finished off by adding a few DB Sprinkles. I think he would brighten up anyone's book!

Here's a peek at the products as well as a recap of the samples I have made (one which hasn't been shared on my blog yet!):

So, which are your favourites this month? I hope you have enjoyed seeing my peeks and I also hope this video was helpful. Happy Shopping! ;)

CB Teasers | Sunburst

Hello there, I am back with the last of my Clearly Besotted teasers today. All the new products will be available to purchase tonight at 10pm GMT :)

For my cards today I am using the Sunburst stamp set. I love it! It has so many possibilities to it but I decided to pair it up with the Thank You set to make a couple of note cards. The design is the same but I used two different colours - aqua and pink.

I took some white cardstock and ran this through my Cuttlebug using the SSS Stitched Squares dies. I then took the images that look like flower petals and stamped them using chalk ink. I used two shades of ink on each stamp to give a little variation in shade.

I then stamped the large 'thanks' sentiment from the Thank You set and the 'you' from the Sentimental Type set with black ink. The panels were adhered to 4x4" card bases that have a sheet of paper added from the Lawn Fawn Let's Polka collection, with foam tape. I then embellished with a few DB Sprinkles.

CB Teasers | So Tweet and On Your Day

Hello there and welcome to another day of Clearly Besotted Teasers. Not long to wait now until you can get your hands on these products. They will be released tomorrow evening at 10pm GMT. Today I have another two cards to share with you using two different sets - So Tweet and On Your Day.

My first card uses the new So Tweet stamp set and matching dies. I wanted to make a little scene using the dies so I cut the elements from various Doodlebug papers. For the bird, I cut his little feet off (I know! I am so cruel but it went with the design better I thought!), I also pierced a little whole for his eye.

I took a panel of white cardstock, cut a circle from it (using SSS Stitched Circle dies) and stamped the sentiment (from the stamp set) below the aperture I made. On an A2 card base, I added the elements to make a little scene. The clouds were cut using the Sky's The Limit dies and the grass is an MFT die. I then added the panel on top with foam tape.

My next card uses the new On Your Day stamp set. It is such a pretty set with flower images, as well as some beautiful sentiments geared towards love and marriage. The cards that I send the most of are birthday cards, so I wanted to incorporate the flowers in to birthday card.

I took a panel of white cardstock and ran this through my Cuttlebug using the LF Stitched Journaling Card die. I then stamped the flower head and stem using chalk ink. The sentiment is from the Many Mini Messages set, which has been stamped in black.

I added a little clear Wink of Stella to the flowers and then wrapped some twine around the panel. A few sequins were added also. The panel was adhered to a blue A2 card base which was embossed using the PTI Linen plate.
