Elzybells Black, White & Colour Challenge

This fortnight at Elzybells the challenge set by Elizabeth was to make a card using Elzybells stamps (of course!) and using the colours black, white and one other colour only. I stamped out the gorgeous Exotic Tulip stamp and coloured the background using a purple coloursoft pencil and Sansodor. I then went over it with my Spica glitter pen which sadly you cannot see in the photo but looks lovely IRL. I have then mounted the image to black Bazzill Bling CS and added to base with 3D foam pads. I have made the base by running half of a piece of Lilac CS through my Cuttlebug using the Swiss Dots embossing folder and wrapped ribbon around before adding to a white card blank. Greeting (from a set of 3 greetings) stamped at the bottom and gem stones added to finish. Take a look at the blog for all the other DT creations.

Elzybells Birthday Celebrations DT Challenge

To celebrate Elzybells 5th Birthday, Elizabeth gave us DT members a challenge of making somthing other than a card that could be used as gift wrapping for a present. It could be any theme e.g. Christmas, Birthday, Haloween ...

Here is what I came up with. We always give chocolates in my family at Christmas so I thought about trying to send them in a different way or have them in a differnt container to give out to people on Christmas Day. I used a Stampendous pail and covered the entire handle with ribbons then stamped out the super cute penguin and coloured him in with Copics. I cut him out using Nestabilities dies and added a Doodlebug Paper Frill around the tin before adding the image on top. I stamped the greeting on to card and also cut out using a Nestabilities die then stamped the snowflake image on top using purple chalk ink. I hope you like! Check out the other gorgeous DT samples on Elizabeth's blog, Happy Birthday Elzybells, I am so happy that I could share in your celebrations :0)

STAMPS: Elzybells Art Stamps. INK: Airondack Pitch Black, Colorbox Warm Violet Chalk Ink. CS: Papertrey ink, Bazzill Basics. ACCESSORIES: Stampendous Pail, Doodlebug Paper Frills, Nestabilities Dies, various ribbons from Doodlebug Designs, Papermania, Ribbon Oasis & Making Memories, Copic Markers.

Charm Help Please!

Hi all, can anyone help me please? I am trying to find some good places to buy metal charms on the internet but stuggling. The few places that I have bought from before only have a small selection and I am looking to just buy a few each for not too much money! Can anyone point me the right direction please?
UPDATE: Thank you all so much for your replies and e-mails, it is true what they say about crafters - they are the nicest people :0) I really appreciate your help and I will be having a look on every site that has been recommended.

I made this card for Gina over at The Card Kabin who's Birthday it was last week. I have then mounted the image, added gem stones in the corner and adhered to base with 3d foam pads. The base has been made by layering up pink CS on to a white card blank. The bottom of the top layer has been cut using my SU! scallop border punch. I have then stamped the greeting underneath and added more gem stones. 'gina' has been spelt out down the side using Doodlebug cardstock stickers. Thanks for having a short name Gina!!!
