Elzybells Challenge 15 - My Sketch

This fortnight the challenge over at Elzybells is a sketch by little 'ol me! For my card I changed the sketch slightly and used a circle for my main image and ribbon for one of the layers - this is the great thing about sketches you can do your own thing but still keep to the original layout. I have used one of the gorgeous cows from the S-moo-ches set and coloured her in with Copic s adding glitter to her wings and halo; cut out using nesties and added to base with 3D foam pads. The base has been made by layering up black CS with Pizzazill black & white spotty CS on to a white card blank and 2 layers of ribbon wrapped around. I have left off the sentiment for the time being as there are so many in this fab set and I don't know who this will go to yet! Please check out Elizabeth's blog for my sketch, the other DTs creations and how you can enter the challenge. I hope you like my sketch and will join in the fun!

Hero Arts greeting stamped and mounted up, added to base with foam pads. Apologies for lack of blogging again, I haven't been too well recently, I may have kidney stones. The Nesties label has been sprayed with Copics using the Airbrush System {I know I need a LOT more prcatice with this but I do like the effect} The nestie has then been added to the base with 3d foam pads as well. In the Cookies Of Life ...

Woohoo! Release day is here! For my last sneak peek I am showing you another sample made using the Just Desserts set. For my sample I have made a cookie holder following a Lauren Meader My Timeless Template. I have made the holder out of SU! Chocolate Chip CS, rounded the corners with a punch and punched a circle out as the handle. Elzybells girl stamped, coloured in with Copics, cut out and mounted to the front of the holder with 3D foam pads, isn't she cute?! I have decorated the other side using Maya Road velvet and sheer blooms. Velvet flowers added with gems stones and the sheer bloom added with MM button and linen thread. To hold the holder together I have added Chocolate Chip ribbon and off white organza ribbon by Ribbon Oasis.

For the inside I have made a pouch for my cookie using Whisper White CS and a strip of Chocolate Chip. A MR velvet flower and Prima flower added to the strip with a button and linen thread. Message stamped to the side. I have popped my cookie in a PTI glassine bag and added to the pouch. I think this is a very cute idea to give to friend who may be a bit down and who doesn't like cookies?! I hope you have enjoyed seeing my sneak peeks as well as all the other DT members, so what are you waiting for? go buy!!

Thanks A Latte

This is probably my favourite card I have made for this Elzybells release, it is so simple but I love it even if I do say so myself! It is using the Cool Beans set again and this time I have used the little coffee mug and stamped it on to a a piece of Kraft CS, message stamped at the bottom then added to a white card blank. A strip of white which has been punched using the SU! scallop border punch added accross the middle and ribbon wrapped around which has been secured at the side with a button and some linen thread {I saw this detail on Nicole Heady's blog and I thought it was so cute!} So only one more sleep till the new stamps are released, do you know what sets you are going to buy? I hope you can join me tomorrow for the release day and my last sneak peek for you!

The base is simply a white card blank with a strip of SU! Close to Cocoa down the side. Message stamped, cut out and popped behind the image. Just Desserts

This is card is made using another one of the fab new clear sets that will be released by Elzybells on Monday. I am not sure about this card actually, I LOVE the image and the sentiment, just think I could have done more with it but there isn't much I can do about it now {I am on nights this week!} So anyway ... I have stamped the image and coloured with Copics, cut out using my Nestabilities Curved Rectangle dies, punched a slot in the side and wrapped ribbon around then added to base with 3D foam pads. The base has been made by simply layering up pieces of SU! CS in Elegant Eggplant, Lavender Lace & Orchid Opulence on to a white card blank. Greeting stamped to finish. Are you enjoying the sneak peeks? Just this one from me today, sorry. I have made another sample using this set but I want to save it for the finale! See you tomorrow!
