Simon Says Stamp | Beautiful Friend

Hello there, today I have a card to share using the Beautiful Moments release from Simon Says Stamp. They kindly sent me the Beautiful Friend Die, as well as the Tiny Flora Embossing Folder and I thought that they would work perfectly together.

I started off my card by taking a 4.25" x 5.5" panel of Spellbinders Lavender ColorWheel Cardstock and placed it inside the Simon Says Stamp Tiny Flora Embossing Folder before running it through my die cutting machine. To enhance the embossing, I added ink blending around the edges using Altenew Enchanted Garden Fresh Dye Inks (Hydrangea & Ultraviolet). 

I then adhered the panel to a US A2 sized white card base. I die cut the Simon Says Stamp Beautiful Friend word dies six times from white cardstock. I cut the shadow piece from vellum. I adhered four of the word dies one on top of another and then onto the vellum shadow. I then adhered the other two die cut words to the back, again, one on top of another. This meant that I still got some dimension but without needing to cut small pieces of foam tape down! 

The sentiment was adhered to the card using Bearly Art Glue. I stamped an accompanying sentiment from the Simon Says Stamp Beautiful Blooms Stamp Set onto Hero Arts Pitch Black Cardstock using Versamark Ink. I applied white embossing powder and heat set. It was cut into a strip using the Simon Says Stamp Sentiment Labels 2.0 Dies and adhered to the card with thin black foam squares. To finish, I embellished with Concord & 9th Dew Drops.
