I took a 4.25" x 5.5" panel of white cardstock and stamped the bubbles image from the XL Alphabet Clear Stamp Set in the kit on top using
Hero Arts Intens-ified Black Ink. I also stamped the whale from the set twice. Once as intended and once in reverse (using a grip mat). They were coloured using Copic Markers and fussy cut out with scissors.
I adhered the panel to a US A2 sized white card base with tape runner adhesive. I then adhered the letters on top using
Hero Arts Precision Glue. The whales were adhered using foam tape.

Awesome card! I've been looking for retirement card ideas, and I immediately thought a "fare whale" version of your card would be great.
ReplyDeleteLove the sentiment you created! Perfect!!

ReplyDeleteSuch a cute and fun card. I like the "Whale Done" quote.
ReplyDeleteLove those letters and the way you colored them!
ReplyDeleteFunny! Love the blend on the letters.
ReplyDeletelove these colours - your card is really clever! Can't wait to see the whole kit
ReplyDeleteWhale.... this is adorable! I love what you've done with this - it's hard to leave so much white in the background but it really makes everything else POP with your card!
ReplyDeleteI can't imagine how long it took to place those letters just right and stamp the bubbles too. I'd have needed to do a draft! Beautifully made, especially with the little gold splatters!
