Hello There Bear

Hello there, today I have a card to share with you using the MFT Pop-Up Pals Die-namics and Stamp Set. As the name suggests, these characters (there are four you can make - a bunny, bear, raccoon and cat. Although you can mix and match to create your own too!) are made to be pop-ups on cards, but for my card today, I am using the bear just as is.

PLEASE NOTE: This post contains affiliate links. Please see below for my full disclosure.

I started off by die cutting the head, body, arms and ears from the MFT Pop-Up Pals Die-namics set from Kraft cardstock. I then cut the snout from Alabaster cardstock and the cheek blush and inside ears from Peony cardstock. I added ink blending to the brown areas using Tim Holtz Vintage Photo Distress Ink and then Tim Holtz Picked Raspberry Distress Ink for the inside of the ears.

I stamped the face from the coordinating stamp set (the dies and stamp come as a set) using Versafine Clair Nocturne Ink and then added the stripes to his body using Tim Holtz Vintage Photo Distress Ink. I die cut extra layers of the pieces and then adhered them one on top of another for added stability and dimension. The pieces were then adhered together using liquid glue.

I created a circle shaped card base using the MFT A2 Stitched Circle STAX Die-namics set and added ink blending to one side using Tim Holtz Picked Raspberry Distress Ink. I created a frame for the front of the card by die cutting two of the MFT A2 Stitched Circle STAX Die-namics together. It was adhered to the card using foam tape.

The bear was then adhered using foam tape also. I stamped a sentiment from the MFT Itty Bitty Basics Stamp Set on to black cardstock using Versamark Ink. I applied white embossing powder and heat set. It was cut into a strip using the MFT Itty Bitty Strips Die-namics. I adhered it to the card with more foam tape. To finish off, I added Crystal Glaze to the bear's nose and then added a few Bubbles embellishments around the sentiment.

These characters are just so cute! You can see why they would work great as a pop-up but I think they look good without moving too! Thanks so much for stopping by to see me today, I really do appreciate it. I hope you have a great day!

  1. This is absolutely adorable! I love how you've framed him in the circle and I adore that beautiful pink background. Amazing ink blending too. So gorgeous!
