Simon Says Stamp | Hugs Heart

Hello there, today I have a card to share with you using the new Simon Says Stamp Nested Round Hearts dies. They are releasing today as part of the Kisses release, which also coordinates with last month's Hugs release.

I started off by creating a heart shaped card base. I cut two of the larger hearts from the Simon Says Stamp Nested Round Hearts using white cardstock. On one, I cut a little bit off of the bottom of the heart (so that the card can stand up nicely) and then made a score line about half an inch from the top using a Scoring Board. This creates a hinge. I added adhesive to the hinge and adhered it to the back of the other heart to create the card base. 

I then cut cardstock strips to add to the card. I used one of the smaller dies from the Simon Says Stamp Sentiment Labels Dies and cut it from Hero Arts Cardstock in Paradise, Mist, Passion Flower, Amethyst and Iris. They were adhered to the card in a diagonal and the excess cut off the sides with scissors. 

I die cut three of the smaller hearts from the Simon Says Stamp Nested Round Hearts Die Set twice from white cardstock and layered them up for some dimension. They were then adhered to the card with Bearly Art Glue. I also die cut three of the 'hugs' word from the Simon Says Stamp CZ Design Basic Trio Dies from black cardstock. They were also layered up one on top of another for dimension before adhering to the card. To finish off, I added a few Little Things from Lucy's Cards Raindrops.
