Hello there and welcome to day three of the Clearly Besotted August 2022 Teasers. Release day is 1st August 2022. I hope that you have been enjoying the teasers so far. There are still a few more days left! Today I am using the new Ring Around Fall set. This set features a beautiful wreath (which I will be using tomorrow) as well as the sunflowers that I am using today.

disclosure.
I started off by stamping the sunflowers from the
Clearly Besotted Ring Around Fall Stamp Set on to a panel of white cardstock using
Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. I then coloured the image using Copic Markers. For the background, I added in some dots using Copic Markers for the sky. I wanted there to be some colour but I didn't want it to be solid and dots work well for that.
The panel was adhered to an A2 white card base with tape runner. I took the sentiment from the set and stamped it on to black cardstock with
Versamark Ink. I applied
White Embossing Powder and heat set. It was cut in to a strip and added to the card using thin foam tape. To finish off, I added a few white gel pen dots.

A really simple card but I think that image really packs a punch and is so beautiful! It could be combined with lots of critters too though. For more inspiration using the new release, please head over to the

How beautiful! Makes me wish I’d inked that one up. I love your colouring so much- all those beautiful dots- they look so real- like they’re swaying in the wind x
ReplyDeleteThese are so pretty! You've got some really lovely dimension on the centres. I only hope that the ones in our garden look as good - eventually!
ReplyDeleteIt's a beautiful image and your colouring is stunning Michelle. The dot detail around the flowers looks gorgeous as it is subtle but it's definitely there. It almost creates a haze - fabulous! Out of the 10 sunflowers we sowed earlier in the year, only 2 survived thanks to the garden pests, but they really brighten up the garden! xx
