Spellbinders | Hello, Sweet Friend + Looking at New Spellbinders Tools

Hello there, today I have a card to share with you using the Spellbinders May 2021 Small Die of the Month Club Kit, as well as the Clear Stamp of the Month Club Kit. The Arched A2 & Slimline Card Creator Dies from the Small Die of the Month Kit work, as the name suggests on A2 cards, as well as slimline cards. There are a few different pieces that you can combine to cover the front of an A2 card but for my card today, I wanted to use just the inside piece as I thought it looked a bit like trellis or a garden gate and so I could create a garden scene with it.

I started off with an Arctic A2 card base. Using a blending brush, I blended on Tim Holtz Peacock Feathers Distress Ink towards the bottom, blending up lighter as I went. I then took the die from the Spellbinders Small Die of the Month Club Kit and die cut it from white cardstock, twice that had adhesive sheet on the back. They were layered up one on top of another.

It was placed temporarily on to the card base and then I lined up the sentiment from the Spellbinders Clear Stamp of the Month Kit inside the window. It was stamped using Versafine Clair Nocturne Ink. The die cut panels were then added on to the card base. I took the Spellbinders Sweet Birds on a Branch Etched Dies and cut the branch from brown cardstock. I cut off the end and adhered it on top of the trellis that I made.

I then die cut the birds from yellow and pink cardstock, layered them up with Bearly Art Glue and adhered them to the branch with foam squares. I then also die cut the flowers and leaves from the Spellbinders Build a Spring Birdhouse Etched Dies from the same cardstock and adhered them on to the card. To finish off, I added enamel dots to the centres of the flowers.

Designers like myself share inspiration using the kit at the beginning of the month to show you lots of different ways that you can use it. There are also lots of other club kits too, like the Clear Stamp of the Month, which I also used today, so there is something for everyone! If you do subscribe, you will get other benefits from Spellbinders too. Please see here for more information. You can also buy older kits here too.

Before I go, I also wanted to share a look at some of the newer products in the Spellbinders Store. These were kindly sent to me to use but I was under no obligation to share them in a video like this. However, as you will hear in the video, I really like them and wanted to share them with you. Here is a look at them:
