Sending You Hugs

Hello there, today I have a card to share using the new Tile Pattern Stencil from Hero Arts. It is such a great stencil and although I have only used a small portion of it today, I think it is really pretty. I also think it is a very gender neutral pattern, which is always great!

I started off by placing the stencil over some watercolour paper. Using a blending tool, I blended over Distress Oxide Inks in Salty Ocean, Cracked Pistachio and Peacock Feathers. I then added a layer of Frosty Dawn Sparkle Paste, removed the stencil and set aside to dry. Once dry, I die cut this in to a heart using a Nesting Heart Infinity Die and added it flat to a white A2 card base with tape runner.

I took the Hello Stamp & Cut and cut the hello die three times from black cardstock. I layered these up with liquid glue and added it on top of the heart.

I then took the sentiment from the set and stamped this on to white cardstock with black ink. This was added to the card with foam tape below the 'hello'.

Such a simple design but I love the sparkle from the paste. Sadly it doesn't show up well in the photos but it is so pretty in real life. Thank you so much fro visiting me today. I hope you have a great day!

  2. It’s beautiful Michelle, and I agree it’s a great stencil for both men and women. Having got some of that sparkle paste I know how pretty it’s going to be in real life. Gorgeous!

  3. It is lovely and such a very neutral design which makes it really appealing. It reminds me of patterns on a giraffe for some reason. Just love how you've kept it lovely and simple as usual xxx
