Sweet Friend

Hello there, today I have another card to share using images that I coloured during the last 30 Day Colouring Challenge. I saved all the little images in a box and when I saw the elephant for my card from last week, I saw these ones in there too.

I started off by taking a panel of white cardstock and blended over Distress Inks in Tumbled Glass and Mowed Lawn using light strokes with Clarity Stencil Brushes. I love that they gave a really soft effect. I stamped the sentiment, from the WPlus9 Hand Lettered Hello stamp set, below this using black ink.

The images are from the WPlus9 Happy Mail stamp set. They were stamped with black ink and then coloured with Copic Markers (colours used are listed below in the supplies section). They were also cut out using the matching dies. I added the log, flower and butterfly with ATG and then the bunny and bear with foam tape. The panel was adhered to a white A2 card base with foam tape.

Joyeux Noel

Hello there, today I have the pleasure of taking part in a blog hop to celebrate the release of new digi-stamps by Steph Made It For You. She is releasing some gorgeous French sentiments and I am using the beautiful Joyeux Noel one for my card today.

I started off by printing the sentiment on to some Canson watercolour paper. As you can see, I kept the sentiment large to be the focal point on the card. Once the paper came out of my printer, I quickly applied clear embossing powder. Since my printer is an Inkjet, the ink stays wet for a little while and if you are quick, you can heat emboss. I then set the embossing powder with my heat gun.

I ran the paper through my Cuttlebug using the Mama Elephant rectangle Femme Frames die. While I was die cutting, I also cut the SSS Ashlynn Snowflake die from mask paper. These were adhered to the panel and I took Distress Inks in Broken China and Shaded Lilac and blended these over. I then misted over a mixture of water and Perfect Pearls to give a subtle shimmer (sadly you cannot see it in the photo but it is there!). The panel was adhered to a white A2 card base with foam tape. I then added some Lucy's Little Things Lagoon sequins, along with a few Sparkling Stars to finish it off.

Birthday Ellie

Hello there, today I have a card to share using the Adorable Elephants stamp set from MFT. I coloured the little elephnat as part of the last 30 Day Colouring Challenge and I have now finally got around to using it!

As I said, I already had the elephant stamped, die cut and coloured. I took the balloon image from the set, stamped this and coloured with Copic Markers also. I then cut it out with the matching die. I took a panel of white cardstock and used the scallop MFT Jumbo Peek-a-Boo Window Die to cut an aperture into it. I then stamped the sentiment, from the same Adorable Elephants set, on to the bottom of this.

I took a white A2 card base and adhered a piece of yellow star paper from the MFT Lucky prints paper pad on to the front. I then adhered the font panel using foam tape. I popped the elephant and balloon in to the aperture using a combination of tape runner and foam tape. To finish off, I added clear Wink of Stella to the Balloon, along with a coating of Glossy Accents. I then added black glaze pen to the elephant's eyes.

VIDEO | Simon Says Stamp Haul #16

Hello there, so if you visit me regularly you would have seen that I have been lacking mojo recently. I do have a few ways to try and get through it - I organise, I de-stash and then I buy! Simon Says Stamp had a 20% off offer on, so I thought it would be a good time to get some new goodies to play with and hope that mojo comes back!

I got quite a lot of random bits really. A few stamp sets, some dies, some embellishments and some Ranger Enamel Accents. Here is a look at everything I got:
