CB Teasers | Sketched Blooms

Hello there, today is THE day! All the new Clearly Besotted Stamps will be available to purchase tonight - yay! I will be back with my release video later but first I wanted to share my last teaser with you.

Today I am using the new Sketched Blooms stamp set and matching dies. The flowers in the set can be layered up or used separately. I decided to layer them up. I first took the bottom solid layer of the flowers and stamped these using SSS Lavender ink. I then stamped the sketched part over the top using MFT Grape Jelly Hybrid ink. These were then cut out using the matching dies. For the leaves, I stamped the bottom/solid layer only, using HA Soft Green ink and cut these with the dies also.

I took an A2 card base and added a strip of SSS Lavender cardstock along the edge. I then stamped this using the polka dot border from the Background Builder stamp set, using Versamark ink. I added another white layer of cardstock to the left of the card base, the flowers and leaves were added to this using foam tape.

The sentiment, from the Sentimental Type stamp set, was stamped with black ink, cut out and added to the base with foam tape also. I finished off the card by adding some Doodlebug Sprinkles and a rhinestone. I also liberally covered the flowers and leaves with clear Wink of Stella.

CB Teasers | Happy Birthday

Hello there,  I am back today sharing more Clearly Besotted Teasers with you. Today I have two Birthday cards to share using two different sets. The first is a new set called Laugh Out Loud. It is a great set filled with little Birthday related images as well as some great punny sentiments.

I have simply taken some white cardstock and run this through my Cuttlebug using the ME Femme Frames die to make a panel. I have then stamped the sentiment and the candles using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and coloured the candles using Copic Markers. I have adhered the panel to a white A2 card base with foam tape and added some clear WOS and Glossy Accents to the candles.

CB Teasers | Get Well

Hello there, today I am back with another Clearly Besotted Teaser. Today I am using the beautiful new Simple Silhouettes stamp set. It is a great set in which you can build up scenes using two vases/jugs and flowers. For my card today I started out with some TH Watercolor Cardstock. I cut this using one of the smaller dies from the LF Stitched Rectangle die set (using the smooth side of the paper).

I took the jug from the set and stamped this using the TH Pumice Stone Distress Marker. This was then masked off and the flower images stamped using Mowed Lawn and Seedless Preserves Markers. I then took a paint brush and some water and moved the colour about, adding some more as I went to create a watercoloured imaged. The sentiment, from the same set has been stamped using black ink on to a separate sheet of cardstock, cut out and added to the panel with foam tape.

The panel has been adhered to a card base made from more watercolour cardstock, this time I used the textured side to add some interest. I finished off the card with a few sequins.

CB Teasers | Thank You

Hello there, today starts the new Clearly Besotted Teasers for the February release. You will have seen Stephanie's initial peek yesterday and now the DT and GDT will be sharing samples for the next few days. The new products will be released on the 5th February 2015 at 10pm GMT. You are going to love the sets this month (as always!).

My card today uses the new Friends Forever stamp set. It is a beautiful set that features two flower images, as well as some beautiful sentiments. I took the image of the Tulips, stamped it on a panel of TH Watercolor Cardstock, which has been cut using the ME Femme Frames die, with Versmagic ink and then heat embossed in white.

I coloured the image using TH Distress Markers with water and a paint brush. The 'you' portion of the sentiment has been stamped on to the panel using TH Mustard Seed Distress Ink and then watercoloured slightly. The 'thanks' portion has been stamped on a separate piece of cardstock using Memento Gray Flannel ink, cut out and added to the panel with foam tape. The whole panel has then been adhered to a PTI Harvest Gold card base using fun foam. I have simply then embellished with a few sequins and rhinestones.
