Hey Friend + Giveaway

Hello there, today I have another card to share using a wonderful stamp set from Tracey Hey and Alpaca Pals. This time I am using the adorable Hey Cutie set.

I started off by stamping the elephant on to white cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. I coloured her using Copic Markers (the colours I used are listed below the supplies section) and fussy cut her out with scissors. I stamped the sentiment on to black cardstock with Versamark Ink and applied white embossing powder and heat set. These were then cut in to strips.

When I made this card, I created a couple of extra backgrounds so I thought it would be good to use for this card. The background was made by embossing the SSS Stained Glass 1 Stencil and adding Dr. Ph. Martin's Radiant Watercolours on top. The background piece was then die cut using a SSS Stitched Rectangle Die and then adhered to a white 4.5" x 4.5" card base with foam sheet and DST. I added the elephant and sentiments on top with thin foam squares. To finish off, I added Aqua Shimmer Pen and Crystal Glaze to the heart on her top.

Just Keep Swimming!

Hello there, today I am back with another card using the fabulous new range of stamps from Tracey Hey and Alpaca Pals. Today I am using the super cute Make A Splash Stamp Set., It is filled with lots of fabulous sentiments and four wonderful sea creatures. I decided to use the seahorse for my card today.

I started off by stamping the seahorse using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink on white cardstock. I coloured it in using Copic Markers (the colours used are listed below the supplies section) and fussy cut out with scissors. I took a panel of watercolour paper and added drops of Tonic Nuvo Shimmer Powder in Atlantis Burst and Blue Blitz and sprayed this liberally with water. I left it to dry and then die cut it out using a SSS Stitched Circle Die. I took an A2 white card base and embossed a Hero Arts Circle Infinity Die on to the front panel. The shimmer piece was added inside with tape runner.

I added the seahorse to the card with foam squares and then stamped the sentiment on to black cardstock with Versamark Ink. I applied white embossing powder and heat set. This was then cut in to two strips and added to the card with more foam squares. To finish off, I added a few Raindrops for bubbles and Aqua Shimmer to the purple areas of the seahorse.

Hang In There

Hello there, today I have a card to share using stamps from a new company - Alpaca Pals. These stamps are designed by the amazing artist Tracey Hey who has an alpaca farm down in Dorset (hence the name!). Tracey kindly sent me some of her stamps to play with, so I will be sharing some cards with them this week and I'll have a giveaway at the end of the week too.

My first card uses the fabulous Koality Stamp Set. I took a panel of white cardstock and stamped the koala in the tree image with Memento Tuxedo Black. I then die cut the panel using a SSS Stitched Rectangle die. I took the sentiment from the set and stamped this below the koala.

The image was then coloured using Copic Markers (the colours I used are listed below the supplies section). The panel was simply added to a black A2 card base with foam sheet and DST.
