Clearly Besotted Teasers | Poppy Plushies

Hello there and welcome to the start of the Clearly Besotted October 2022 Teasers. Release day is 1st October 2022 and from now until then, we will be sharing teasers using the new sets. Today I am using the beautiful new Blooming Poppy Plushies set.

I love this set so much and couldn't decide if I wanted the poppies a traditional red or blue. So, I decided to make a card with red poppies and a little tag with blue poppies! 

I started off the card by stamping the poppies image from the Clearly Besotted Blooming Poppy Plushies Stamp Set on to a panel of white cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. 

I then stamped the bear holding the poppies on to a separate piece of cardstock and coloured them both using Copic Markers (the colours that I used are listed below the supplies list for reference). I fussy cut the bear with poppies out using scissors.

The panel was adhered to an US A2 sized white card base with thin foam tape. The bear was then adhered on top in the same way. 

I took a sentiment from the set and stamped it on to black cardstock with Versamark Ink. I applied white embossing powder and heat set. It was cut into a strip and added to the card with more thin foam tape. 

For the tag, I stamped the duck and poppies image from the Clearly Besotted Blooming Poppy Plushies Stamp Set on to white cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. I coloured it with Copic Markers and then fussy cut it out with scissors. 

It was adhered to a Reverse Confetti Dashed Line Tag using thin foam tape. The sentiment from the Clearly Besotted Blooming Orchid Plushies Stamp Set was heat embossed in white on to black cardstock. It was cut into a strip and added to the tag. 

To finish off, I added a few Little Things from Lucy's Cards Bubbles, twine bow and a mini clothespin.

Aren't those poppies beautiful? There is a similar set releasing this month too with orchids. They are both gorgeous!
