Bear Hugs

Hello there, today I have a card to share with you using the new Hero Arts Camp In The Wild Stamp Set. It is such a cute set but I was instantly drawn to the bear sitting down.

I started off by stamping the bear using Hero Arts Intense Black Ink on to white cardstock. I then coloured the bear using E59, E57, E55 & E53 Copic Markers. The bear was then die cut out using the Hero Arts Camp In The Wild Frame Cuts and set aside while I worked on the background.

 

 

I took the Hero Arts Tag Fancy Die and cut this from some watercolour paper. Using an ink blending tool, I blended on Distress Inks in Mermaid Lagoon, Wilted Violet and Black Soot. I then splattered on some Hero Arts White Iridescent Shimmer Spray for some sparkle and Copic Opaque White for the stars. This was then set aside to dry.

 

 

I took the sentiment from the Hero Arts Camp In The Wild Stamp Set and stamped this on to Hero Arts Pitch Black Cardstock with Hero Arts Clear Embossing & Watermark Ink. I applied White Embossing Powder and heat set. This was cut in to a strip. Once the tag was dry, I added twine through the top and adhered it on to an A2 white card base with foam tape. The sentiment and tag were then both added with more foam tape.
