Hello there, today I have the pleasure of taking part in Christy's Celebration Video Hop. She recently surpassed 10k subscribers on You Tube and kindly asked lots of designers and myself, to take part in a video hop. There are of course, lots of prizes to be won and I will share more on that later.
For my card, I started off with a panel of white cardstock cut using the largest of the WPlus9 Gift Card layers dies. I then took the Create a Smile Waves of Stars stencil and placed this over the top. I then took some Texture Paste and mixed this with glitter. This was applied over the stencil.
I took the Sugar Pea Designs Celebrate die and cut this three times from white cardstock. I applied Distress Inks in rainbow colours on to one of the die cuts and then spritzed with a mixture of Perfect Pearls and water. The die cuts were then layered up. I took the sentiment from the Sugar Pea Designs Celebrate All The Things stamp set and stamped this on to black cardstock with Versamark ink. I then applied white embossing powder and heat set. This was cut out in to a banner.
I adhered the texture paste panel on to a white A2 card base with ATG and then added the embossed sentiment on top. The celebrate word was added on top with clear foam tape. To finish off, I added a few Sparkling Clear sequins.

ReplyDeleteCool idea adding glitter to texture paste. I'll have to try that. Pretty card. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteThis is very pretty Michelle - I have not mixed my glitter in with my paste before, but this is a much better idea than sprinkling it over wet paste which I have done in the past. I shall try that thank you. A beautiful sparkly card!
ReplyDeleteI love the finished card, loads of interest but still CAS perfection, as always, Michelle!
