Hello there, today I have a card to share using the same Chevron Rectangle stencil that I used on this card that I made using the Cricut Explore. This time I have used the stencil with embossing paste and kept the paste a little but more rustic than I usually do. On a separate sheet of CS I have stamped the butterfly from the HA Antique Engravings stamp set with TH Peacock Feathers Distress Ink and then gone over it with a waterbrush. Once dried I also went over it with the clear WOS brush. The butterfly has then been cut out and added to the embossing paste panel.
I have then stamped the sentiment from the HA Classic Messages set and cut this out. This has been added to the panel with clear foam tape. The panel has been added to a white card base with foam tape and then I have added a few Doodlebug sequins and rhinestones.

ReplyDeleteThis is lovely. I am wondering what type of embossing paste did you use? Do you ever have trouble with it wrinkling the paper? Thanks!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much! I made this card back in 2014 but I am pretty certain that I used Dreamweaver Embossing Paste. I am not sure if they still make it or not but I do really like the Ranger and /or Tim Holtz ones too. Thank you so much for stopping by!
