Altenew | Climbing Clematis

Hello there, today is an exciting day as the new Altenew November 2025 release hits the shops! There are lots of stamps, dies, embossing folders, stencils, and new inks releasing today. I will have more cards to share with you using the release for the blog hop on Friday, but I do have one card to share today using the new Build-A-Garden set.

PLEASE NOTE: This post contains affiliate links. Please see below for my full disclosure.

As with all the Altenew BAG sets, the new Altenew Build-A-Garden: Climbing Clematis set includes as stamp set, coordinating stencils, coordinating dies and a mini blending brush. I started off by stamping the image onto white cardstock using Altenew Obsidian Pigment Ink and the Altenew Stampwheel

I left the ink to dry for a few minutes and then using the coordinating stencils, placed each one over the image and added ink blending using Mini Blending Brushes to colour the image. I used the new Altenew Moonlit Twilight Fresh Dye Inks for the petals, Altenew Golden Sunset Fresh Dye Inks for the flower centres, and the new Altenew Sage Garden Fresh Dye Inks for the leaves.

The image was die cut out and adhered to a white US A2 sized card base with Altenew Instant Dimension Foam Tape. I stamped a sentiment from the set onto white cardstock using Altenew Obsidian Pigment Ink and then die cut it out. It was adhered to the card and to finish, I embellished with Altenew Clear Iridescent Stellar Sequins

Hero Arts | Hero Studio November 2025 Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Hello there, I am delighted to be joining Hero Arts today for a fun blog hop to celebrate the Hero Studio November2025 release. The theme this month is book and reading.

The Card Kit of the Month, Stamp & Cut of the Month, Dies of the Month, Layering Stencils of the Month, and Cling of the Month are all releasing today. You can also purchase the Whole Studio which includes all of the kits and a free gift. Today, I am focussing on the Card Kit and the Die Set.

PLEASE NOTE: This post contains affiliate links. Please see below for my full disclosure.

HERO STUDIO CARD KIT OF THE MONTH

I started off my card by die cutting the girl holding the book from the Hero Arts Hero Studio November 2025 Card Kit of the Month from Spellbinders ColorWheel Cardstock. I used Alabaster for her skin, Truffle for her hair, Seaside and Waterfall (for the cuffs) for her jumper, and BlushTutu and Classic White for the book. I cut most layers twice (to stack up on one another) since this is a piece together set, there is no base layer, and I wanted parts to be popped up.

The pieces were adhered to an A2 sized card base made from Hero Arts Pitch Black Cardstock. I rounded the corners using the Spellbinders 2-1 Punch: Corner Rounder & Notch. I stamped a sentiment from the kit onto white cardstock using Hero Arts Intensified Black Ink

It was die cut out using the coordinating dies, popped up with another die cut layer and then adhered to the card. To finish, I embellished with Spellbinders Pink Color Essentials Gems

WHAT’S IN THE KIT?

The Hero Arts November 2025 Card Kit of the Month includes:

To Be Read Pile 4x6 Clear Stamp
To Be Read Pile Coordinating Die
Happy Place Die Set
Professional Bookworm 3x4 Stamp & Cut
Gold Hero Wax, 1 oz.
10 Sheets of Cardstock- 1 of each color, 5.5" x 8.5" (Bellini, Coral, Carrot, Terra Cotta, Beeswax, Saffron, Tuscan, Peridot, Seaside, Waterfall)

HERO STUDIO DIE SET OF THE MONTH

The Hero Arts Hero Studio November 2025 Die Set of the Month is called Book Bag and features a bag that you can add books into, a bookworm, a bookmark and a sentiment. I started off by die cutting the books. I cut the one on the left from Seaside and Waterfall cardstock, and the one on the right from Blush and Tutu cardstock. I cut the bookmark from Tutu and Classic White cardstock.

They were assembled and adhered together first and then adhered to an A2 size card base made from Hero Arts Pitch Black Cardstock with the corners rounded using thin foam tape. I then die cut the bookworm from Peridot, Waterfall, Classic White and Raven cardstock. He was assembled and adhered together and then adhered to the card with liquid glue.

I stamped the sentiments from the Hero Arts Hero Studio November 2025 Card Kit of the Month onto white cardstock using Hero Arts Intens-ified Black Ink and die cut them out. I cut the dies another two times and adhered them behind the stamped ones for added dimension before adhering to the card. To finish, I embellished with Spellbinders Pink Color Essentials Gems

Altenew | November 2025 Inspiration Challenge

Hello there, I am delighted to be hosting this month's Inspiration Challenge over at Altenew. Each month, either a DT member or guest takes a photo and creates a project based on that photo. You can use the colours provided or you can use the photo as more of a starting point and see where it takes you! I decided to use the colours from my photo for my card.

PLEASE NOTE: This post contains affiliate links. Please see below for my full disclosure.

I started off my card by stamping the flowers from Altenew Build-A-Garden: Serene Blooms onto white cardstock using Altenew Obsidian Pigment Ink. I then used the coordinating stencils to colour the images using inks and blending brushes

I followed the inspiration photo above using the two shades of pink from the fuchsias in my garden. I used Altenew Bubblegum Dreams Fresh Dye Inks (Baby Pink, Fuchsia & Magenta) for the dark pink tones and Altenew Blushberry Bliss Fresh Dye Inks (Strawberry, Dusty Pink & Blush Rose) for the light pink tones.

For the greens, I used Altenew Green Valley Fresh Dye Inks. The images were die cut out using the coordinating dies. I also die cut the vase from white cardstock and added ink blending on top with Altenew Jet Black Ink (since in the inspiration photo the fuchsias are in a black flower pot).

The flower stems were adhered behind the vase and secured in place with tape, before adhering both onto a white A2 sized card base with Altenew Instant Dimension Foam Tape. I stamped the sentiment from Altenew Build-A-Garden: Serene Blooms onto white cardstock using Altenew Obsidian Pigment Ink and die cut it out using the coordinating dies.

It was adhered on top of the vase with foam tape on the left and liquid glue on the right. To finish, I added black dots to the card using Altenew Finer Liner Pens

I hope that you will check out the challenge. You can see more information about it here

Simon Says Stamp | Candy Canes

Hello there, I hope you are well! Today I have a card to share using the Simon Says Stamp Candy Cane Plate Die that they kindly sent me to use. This is such a fun design and I think this card would be perfect to mass produce too!

PLEASE NOTE: This post contains affiliate links. Please see below for my full disclosure.

I started off by die cutting the Simon Says Stamp Candy Cane Plate Die from white cardstock. I popped out all the inside pieces and adhered it to an A2 sized white card base with Bearly Art Glue. On a separate piece of cardstock, I added ink blending with Tim Holtz Picked Raspberry, Seedless Preserves and Wilted Violet Distress Inks and Ink Blending Brushes

It was die cut out using using the same Simon Says Stamp Candy Cane Plate Die and the inside pieces inlayed back into the white panel. This did take a while but the Pinkfresh Studio Embellishment Tool really helped! I stamped a sentiment from the Simon Says Stamp Tiny Words Christmas Stamp Set onto black cardstock using Versamark Ink. I applied white embossing powder and heat set. It was cut into a strip using the Simon Says Stamp Sentiment Labels Dies and adhered to the card using foam squares.

I quite like inlay, to me it is kind of like doing a jigsaw puzzle but I know it's not for everyone! You could definitely just pop the white layer on top with foam tape and have the colour show through from the bottom layer, rather than inlay the pieces. Thank you so much for stopping by today, I really do appreciate it. I hope you have a wonderful day and a great weekend!

VIDEO | Pinkfresh Studio Twilight Tales

Hello there, I am delighted to be over on the Pinkfresh Studio YouTube channel today sharing a card and video using the Twilight Tales set. This set is great for anyone who loves to read and I love that although the image is quite large, you can cut it into sections and use just part of it, like I have done today.

PLEASE NOTE: This post contains affiliate links. Please see below for my full disclosure.

I started off by stamping the image from Pinkfresh Studio Twilight Tales Stamp Set onto white cardstock using Pinkfresh Studio Detail Black Hybrid Ink. I then used the Pinkfresh Studio Twilight Tales Stencils to colour the image using ink blending and blending brushes

I stamped the sentiment from the set on to a separate piece of cardstock and both were die cut out using their coordinating dies. For the card base, I die cut 3 of the largest Pinkfresh Studio Double Stitch Elongated Oval Die and on one, added ink blending on top with Pinkfresh Studio Wisteria, Hydrangea, Opulence and Detail Black Inks.

I added white splatter with Dr Ph. Martin's Bleed Proof White paint and set it aside to dry. I added a score line towards the top of another of the ovals to create a hinge. I added adhesive to this and adhered it to the other oval to create the card base. The inked panel was then adhered on top.

I added the image with thin foam tape and the sentiment with 2 more layers of cardstock. To finish, I embellished with Pinkfresh Studio Iridescent Dew Drops

Although I used purple inks for this, I think it would look great with any colour as well! Thank you so much for stopping by today, I do appreciate it. I hope you have a great day!

Spellbinders | Tabbed Envelope

Hello there, today I have a gift card holder to share with you using new items from the Spellbinders Tabbed Classics Collection by Wendy Vecchi. Last year the Essential Envelope was released (you can see what I made with it here) and now, there is an add-on set that includes sentiments and the tab insert to add to the envelope.

PLEASE NOTE: This post contains affiliate links. Please see below for my full disclosure.

I started off my gift card holder by die cutting the Spellbinders Essential Envelope Die Set from Spellbinders Lavender ColorWheel Cardstock. I assembled the envelope adhering the flaps using double-sided tape. I then die cut the front panel from the new Spellbinders Essential Envelope Every Day Add-Ons Etched Dies from Spellbinders Classic White ColorWheel Cardstock and adhered it on top.

In the set is a flower and leaves, so I die cut the flower from Spellbinders Lilac, Lavender and Fairy Tale ColorWheel Cardstock and adhered them together, folding up the petals to create dimension. The leaves were die cut from Spellbinders Peridot and Rainforest ColorWheel Cardstock.

I adhered the leaves first, followed by the flower in the centre. I stamped the sentiments from the Spellbinders Tabbed In & Out Sentiments Clear Stamp & Die Set onto white cardstock using Versafine Clair Nocturne Ink. They were die cut out using the coordinating dies and adhered on top of the flower using foam squares.

I die cut the tabbed insert for the envelope from the Spellbinders Essential Envelope Every Day Add-Ons Etched Dies from Spellbinders Classic White ColorWheel Cardstock and stamped and die cut the 'pull' sentiment from the Spellbinders Tabbed In & Out Sentiments Clear Stamp & Die Set and adhered it to the tab. I temporarily adhered a gift card to the tab and then inserted it into the envelope. To finish, I embellished with Spellbinders Silver Color Essentials Gems

I am really happy to have the tabbed insert for the envelope! I made a gift card holder but you could add a message on the insert and it be a card in itself or you could add the envelope to a card - lots of possibilities! Thank you so much for stopping by today, I really appreciate it. I hope you have a wonderful day!

Spellbinders | Merry Mischief

Hello there, I was over on the Spellbinders Blog a couple of weeks ago, sharing three cards using the Merry Mischief Collection. This is such a cute collection! The die sets all have a coordinating sentiment set with them. Over on the blog, I shared 3 ways to use cardstock for simple backgrounds.

PLEASE NOTE: This post contains affiliate links. Please see below for my full disclosure.

The peek above shows one of the cards I made. I used the adorable Spellbinders Cozy Waddles Clear Stamp & Die Set for the penguins, die cutting them out using Spellbinders ColorWheel Cardstock. The sentiment is from the Spellbinders Deck the Paws Clear Stamp & Die Set. The background was simply made by cutting cardstock at different angles!

VIDEO | Adding Patterns with Stencilling & Ink Blending

Hello there, today I have a card and video to share using the Hero Arts Best Gift Ever Collection. I already made one card using the collection, which you can see here. That card was a birthday card but I took inspiration from it to create a Christmas card in a non-traditional colour palette.

PLEASE NOTE: This post contains affiliate links. Please see below for my full disclosure.

I started off my card by pressing the Hero Arts Wrap It Up Letterpress + Foil Plate onto Hero Arts Deluxe Smooth White Cardstock with BetterPress Black Ink and the Spellbinders BetterPress Letterpress System. I then placed the first of the Hero Arts Gorgeous Giftwrap Layering Stencils on top and held down with low-tack tape.

Using a Large Blending Brush, I blended Hero Arts Ultra Pink Core Ink on top. I removed the stencil and then added the second stencil on top. For this layer, I used Ultra Pink Core Ink again but this time, added a few layers so that it was darker than the first. For two of the presents, I left the patterns off for now and added them in after die cutting.

The presents were then die cut out using the Hero Arts Gift Boxes Die. I then added the patterns on to the other two, so that I could change which pattern went with which present (this makes much more sense when watching the video!). The presents were adhered to an A2 sized card base made from Hero Arts Pitch Black Cardstock with thin foam tape.

I die cut the small foliage from Hero Arts Holly Berries Stamp & Cut XL from white cardstock and added ink blending on top with Hero Arts Kiwi and Green Hills Core Inks. The pieces were cut into smaller sections and adhered to the card using liquid glue. I then die cut the Hero Arts Snowflake Patterned Cover Plate Die from white cardstock and added the snowflakes on top.

I pressed a sentiment from the Hero Arts Here for the Presents Letterpress + Foil & Die Set onto white cardstock using BetterPress Black Ink. It was die cut out and then the die cut another two times from white cardstock and adhered behind the pressed one for added dimension, before adhering to the card. To finish, I embellished with Spellbinders Pink Color Essentials Gems

A very non-traditional card but I do like the modern feel to it and the pink really pops from the black card base, I think! Thank you so much for stopping by today, I really do appreciate it. I hope you have a wonderful day!

Spellbinders | Fountain Wishes

Hello there, as mentioned yesterday, I am back to share another card using the Spellbinders Happier Hour collection. Today's card uses the Fountain Wishes set. This can be used as a sundae, like I have, or as a milkshake. I didn't use them on my card but the set also includes a straw (for the milkshake) and a bird with a balloon and party hat.

PLEASE NOTE: This post contains affiliate links. Please see below for my full disclosure.

I started off my card by die cutting the glass from the Spellbinders Fountain Wishes Etched Dies from Spellbinders Classic White ColorWheel Cardstock. I die cut the ice cream from Spellbinders Blush and Tutu ColorWheel Cardstock and the chocolate sauce from Spellbinders Truffle ColorWheel Cardstock

I adhered the pieces together using Bearly Art Glue, popping the top part of the ice cream behind the rim of the glass. I die cut the wafer from Spellbinders Fawn ColorWheel Cardstock and adhered the two layers together before adhering behind the ice cream. The cherry was die cut from Spellbinders Poppy and Peridot ColorWheel Cardstock and adhered to the top of the ice cream.

I die cut the base of the candle from Spellbinders Classic White ColorWheel Cardstock, the stripes from Chiffon, and the flame from Beeswax ColorWheel Cardstock. They were adhered together first and then adhered behind the ice cream. The glass was then adhered to an A2 sized black card base using thin foam tape.

I hot foiled the sentiment from Spellbinders Fountain Wishes Sentiments BetterPress Plate & Die Set onto white cardstock using Spellbinders Opaque Black Foil and the Glimmer Hot Foil System. It was die cut out using the coordinating die and I also cut the die again from white cardstock and adhered that layer behind the foiled one for dimension. It was adhered to the card with foam squares. To finish, I embellished with Spellbinders Pink Color Essentials Gems

Spellbinders | A Special Toast

Hello there, today I have a card to share using the Happier Hour collection from Spellbinders. You may remember Spellbinders released the Happy Hour collection last year (you can see my cards here), well they are now back with Happier Hour! I have one card to share today and will share another tomorrow.

PLEASE NOTE: This post contains affiliate links. Please see below for my full disclosure.

I started off my card by die cutting the glass from the Spellbinders Special Toast Etched Dies from Spellbinders Classic White ColorWheel Cardstock. I cut the drink part from Spellbinders Chiffon (for the back layer) and Alabaster (for the top layer) ColorWheel Cardstock. The drink part was adhered to the glass and then the glass adhered to a black A2 sized card base with thin foam tape.

I die cut the flowers in the set from Spellbinders Seaside, Waterfall and Teal Topaz ColorWheel Cardstock with the flower centres cut from Classic White. I die cut the leaves and stems from Spellbinders Peridot and Rainforest ColorWheel Cardstock.

The foliage was adhered to the card first, using Bearly Art Glue. The flowers were assembled and adhered to the card with foam squares. I hot foiled the sentiment from the Spellbinders A Special Toast Sentiments BetterPress Plate & Die Set onto white cardstock using Spellbinder Opaque Black Foil and the Glimmer Hot Foil System

It was die cut out using the coordinating die and the die cut again from white cardstock and adhered to the back of the foiled one. I then adhered the sentiment to the card using foam squares. To finish, I embellished with Spellbinders Teal Color Essentials Gems

The set mainly has a love/wedding theme to it. There are bow ties, shoes, a ring plus lots more but I decided to go with a generic celebration theme for my card. Thank you so much for stopping by today, I really do appreciate it. I hope you have a great day!
