Hello there and welcome as we celebrate the release of the Hero Arts March 2024 My Monthly Hero Kits and add-on products. The release this month takes us to the beautiful landscapes of Japan.
PLEASE NOTE: This post contains affiliate links. Please see below for my full disclosure.
My first card today uses the Hero Arts March 2024 My Monthly Hero Premium Kit. I started off by taking the cherry blossoms image from the clear stamp set in the kit and stamped it twice onto Deluxe Smooth White Cardstock. I then coloured them using Copic Markers before die cutting them out using the coordinating Frame Cuts.
I took a panel of white cardstock and using Blending Brushes, blended Ultra Pink and Raspberry Jam Core Inks towards the top. I stamped a sentiment form the set and then adhered it to a US A2 sized white card base with tape runner adhesive.
The cherry blossom images were adhered on top using thin foam tape. I then cut off the excess overhanging the card base with scissors. To finish off, I embellished with Translucent Pink Hero Hues Enamel Dots (also in the kit).
In case you missed it, for my countdown card, I created a silhouette landscape using the Hero Arts March 2024 My Monthly Hero Classic Kit. Please see THIS blog post to find out more.
For my next card, I used a new add-on set - Crane Wishes. I first stamped the crane from the Hero Arts Crane Wishes set onto white cardstock using Intens-ified Black Ink. I then coloured it using Copic Markers before die cutting out using the coordinating Frame Cuts.
I took a panel of Ultra Pink Cardstock and using Blending Brushes, added ink blending on top. I used Ultra Pink, Raspberry Jam and Pitch Black Core Inks, focussing the darker colour around the edges. I then splattered on White Hero Wax (mixed with a little water). Once dry, it was adhered to a US A2 sized white card base with tape runner adhesive.
I adhered the crane on top with thin foam tape. I stamped the sentiment from the set onto Pitch Black Cardstock using Clear Embossing & Watermark Ink. I applied Detail White Embossing Powder and heat set. It was die cut out using the coordinating Frame Cuts and adhered onto the card with more thin foam tape. To finish off, I embellished with Translucent Pink Hero Hues Enamel Dots.
