VIDEO | Ranunculus with Inktense

Hello there, today I have a card to share using the Beautiful Bouquets Ranunculus stamp set from WPlus9. I have used this set a few times now with different colouring mediums. Today I am using it with Derwent Inktense blocks and pencils.

I started off with a piece of Arches Cold Pressed watercolour paper. I stamped the image on to it using Archival ink and my Mini MISTI (it's great for stamping multiple times on to watercolour paper). I then coloured the image using Inktense blocks and pencils. I started off with light layers and built up from there. You can see a speed paint video of me colouring it in below.

Once the image was dry, I cut the piece down and adhered it to a black A2 card base with ATG. I then took the WPlus9 Hand Lettered Hello die and cut this three times from black cardstock. I layered these up and then adhered the piece to the card. To finish off, I added a few PPP Sparkling Clear sequins and a coat of clear Wink of Stella on the hello.

Here is the video showing how I coloured the image in. I hope you are not getting bored of these!

Thank you so much for visiting me today. I hope you are having a great week so far. We are having a heat wave here in the UK and I know I shouldn't complain, but it is way too hot for me! I am melting! Anyway, I hope you have a lovely day, whatever you may be doing ... I'll be sitting in front of a fan eating an ice lolly ;)

  4. I could never be bored of your videos, especially your tutorials and Besotted Introductions! I am slowly but steadily building up my card crafting supplies and have Prismacolor Watercolor Pencils, Prima Watercolor Pencils, 14 Copic Sketch Markers, 36 Zig Real Brush Watercolor Markers, quite a few stamps, a stack of various card stock, watercolor paper, and a few embellishments as well as 12 mini Distress Ink stamps, a couple of permanent ink stamps and a Wink of Stella pen which I really love. I'm so happy with all I'm learning! Thank you! (Linda)

    1. Forgot to add I bought my first set of dies and found the Sizzix Big Kick on sale last week for 40% off, so I am getting so excited in building up what I need over this year! These Inktense colors look great! When my craft allowance is back up there, I'd love to buy some to try.
