CB Teasers | Birch Trees

Hello there and welcome to the start of the November Clearly Besotted Teasers. From now until (and including) the 5th, the DT and our two amazing Guest Designers - Pia Krogh Larsen and  Cindy Lovell will be sharing teasers from the new release with you. The new products will be available to purchase on the 5th at 10pm GMT.

I have two cards to share today using the new Birch Trees stamp set. The cards have come out very different - one soft and one graphic. For the first card I went with the soft look. I first took a Lil' Inker stitched rectangle and cut this from white CS and then vellum. On the white piece I stamped the birch trees using SSS Smoke and Fog inks.

I then took the Tree Landscape Die and cut this from more white CS, cutting off the trees before adding to the vellum layer. I then took the deer from the already released Woodland Pals set and stamped him with MFT Grout Gray Hybrid ink (a great ink to use when doing the no-line Copic colour technique) and coloured with Copic Markers. He has then been cut out using the matching die and popped on to the scene with foam squares.

The sentiment from the Set The Scene stamp set has been stamped using Versamark ink and heat embossed in silver. The little scene has then been added to a white card base.

SUPPLIES - to be updated upon reelease:

COPIC MARKERS: W4, W2, W1, W00, 0 Blender

For my next card I kept it very simple and went for a graphic look. I simply stamped the birch trees in Versafine black ink and then heat embossed using clear embossing powder.

The panel has been cut out and adhered to a white card base. The sentiment, from the same set, has been stamped and heat embossed again, cut into a strip and added on top of the panel with foam squares.
