Card Making Haul - November 2013

Hello there, today I am sharing with you my monthly card making haul for the month of November. I bought  a few different bits this month, no stamps or dies though (well not in this haul but I did get some in my last SSS haul!). I finally bought some embossing paste after seeing so many of you use it plus some more Tim Holtz Distress Inks and few other bits. Here is the video...

Christmas Angel - DTDF

Hello there, for my card over at the DTDF Blog today I have gone Christmassy again. I wanted to use the positive die cut snowflakes that I cut when making the negative panel on my last DTDF DT card. I decided to use them as a background for the very cute CC Designs Christmas Angel. I didn't realise it while making the card but subconsciously I was completely inspired by THIS amazing card by Kristina Werner.

Winter Penguin

Hello there, when I saw the latest challenge over at Less Is More was to make a Christmas card featuring a bird I just had to play along. I knew exactly what image I wanted to use and it's this super cute penguin from the Some Odd Girl Winter Friends stamp set. I kept the card very simple by cutting the panel at the bottom using the SSS Curved Edge Die and added some Lawn Fawn paper behind. I just think he is so adorable!

Christmas Tag

Hello there, today I am sharing a Christmas tag that I made over the weekend with you. This actually started out as a card idea but as I was making it I thought it would look better as a tag. I have used some of my new Simon Says Stamp goodies for the tag. Loving these products!
