Halloween Honey

Ok ... so I couldn't resist having a quick play with Honey Witch Digi stamp from All That Scraps. I have to say although I love the digi designs I hate that my ink runs from my printer, I know I should leave it to set but I am too impatient!! I have added two pics, one lightened in PSP and one not ... cos sometimes the lightened version takes the essence of the colours away I feel.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN EVERYONE!

Fall Birgita

Happy Halloween! I would love to say that I have made some Halloween cards this year but I haven't had the time even though I have some yummy stamps too! never mind, there is always next year! Instead I have made a card using CC Designs Fall Birgita. I have stamped her out and cut out using a Nestabilities Label Three die and coloured with Copics. She is layered on paper from the Kaisercraft Lilac Avenue Collection (from Bunny Zoe's Crafts) I love this stuff! Prima Flowers added which are the Liliput Roses and Fairytale Roses then Hero Arts message stamped at the bottom and pearls added to finish.

STAMPS: CC Designs, Hero Arts. INK: Memento Tuxedo Black. CS: Craftwork Cards, Kaisercraft. ACCESSORIES: Nestabilities dies, Prima Liliput Roses and Fairytale Roses, Die to Die for Flat Backed Pearls, Copic Markers.

I am happy this weekend 'cos Tracy has got the new MFT Die-namics dies in ... I have wanted these since I have seen them, you have to be quick though cos they are going fast! Thanks for visiting and hope you have a great rest of your weekend.

Baby Jake

Hello all, I hope you are well? For those of you who don't follow me on Facebook I had some great news last week. First off I passed my driving test which I am SO happy about! The second great piece of news was that my brother and sister-in-law had a baby boy and they called him Jake. So here is the card I made for them ...

First of I stamped the oh so cute Nellie Snellen Koetie stamp out with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on to white cardstock and coloured with Copics. This layer has then been mounted to blue cardstock and then on to a white card blank. The greeting is from the Personal Impressions Mix and Match set and 3 mini pearls added underneath. That's it - simple but effective I think! Have a great weekend, oh and apologies for the dark photos!

STAMPS: Nellie Snellen, Personal Impressions. INK: Memento Tuxedo Black. CS: Craftwork Cards, Papermania. ACCESSORIES: The Hobby House pearls, Copic Markers.

New Copic Storage

I have been busy organising my craft room again the last few weeks. I have finally managed to EZ Mount all my un-mounted stamps and put them in DVD cases (from The Artistic Stamper) ... there were tons of them and it took a while! I also bought some new storage for my Copics ...

These came this morning (there are three individual shelving units) and I LOVE them already! They are made by a company in the USA called Studio 3 Solutions they are quite cheap to buy but they did cost a fortune in shipping. They fit in with my room so well though. I have updated my photo's in my craft room folder in Picassa on the right if anyone wanted to have a peek.

Right to now get creating ...

I Baked a Cake

Anybody still there? I know it has been a long time ... what with my health, doing two courses at university as well as work and driving lessons, life for me is a bit hectic right now, hence my lack of creating and blogging. First off I hope you are all well? I'm here to share with you the card I have made for my mum's birthday. Yes, I have wiped the dust off my Copics and combined them with my latest goodies from Die to Die for and had a play ...

I have used one of the very cute bear stamps from Lili of the Valley, this is the one with the cat but I have masked him off. I have then coloured with Copics and cut out using one of the new Nestabilities dies, these are called Lacey Circles. I have then added the image to the base with DST. The base has been made by layering MME Lost and Found papers (these are delicious!) to a white card blank. I have then added flowers to the side; the pink ones are Prima Fairytale Roses and the creamy/pinky one is from Wild Orchid Crafts and the stem ones are from my stash. Finshed off some pearlyness and a greeting from the WRS Girly Greetings set.

STAMPS: Lili of the Valley, Wild Rose Studio. INK: Memento Tuxedo Black. CS: Anita's, My Minds Eye. ACCESSORIES: Nestabilities dies, organza ribbon by Ribbon Oasis, pearls from The Hobby House, Copic Markers.
