Elzybells Challenge 24 - Buttons & Bling!

This fortnights challenge over at Elzybells has been set by the fab Charlene and is 'buttons and bling'! For my card I have one of the stamps from the 'Funky Flowers' set and coloured it in with Copics, cut out using a Nestabilities Label One die and added to base with 3d foam pads. The base has been made by layering up Bazzill CS (from Dies to Die for) with a sheet of paper from the DCWV 'The Spring Stack' Message stamped from the Mimi Messages - A Little Hello set. MME Bloom & Grow buttons (also from Dies to Die for) added to the bottom corner with Scrappers Floss and pearls added to the top corner - my bling! I know there have been some changes over at Elzybells and sadly we have lost some DT members, I just want to wish you all the best and I will still be stalking your blogs, I have loved working with you all. I am happy to announce that I am staying.

It's Candy Time!

Rory

Many of you will know him already and although I have had him a long time this is the first time I have inked up the gorgeous Rory, shame on me! I stamped him out and coloured with Copics then added to base with 3d foam pads. The base is simply a strip of Doodlebug paper added down the side of a white card blank. Greeting stamped from the Woodware Mixed Greetings Clear Set. Pearls added to finish. Just a simple card but I love that image. I CASEd the colours on the image from this GORGEOUS card made by the amazing Paula. I hope everyone is having a nice weekend so far, I am on night shifts myself but they are going ok at the mo!

Elzybells Challenge 23 - Elizabeth's Sketch

For this fortnights challenge over at Elzybells there is a great sketch set by the one and only Elizabeth! For my card I have used the very cute Flower/Bee stamp and coloured with Copics, cut out and mounted to the base with 3d foam. The base is simply two colours of yellow DB CS added to a white A6 card blank. Message stamped from the Mini Messages Critters set and gem stones added to finish. Happy Belated Birthday Denise!

The lovely Denise's Birthday was on Sunday but due to some personal problems I have been lately I didn't manage to post her card in time {I am so sorry Denise, I hope you forgive me} so here it is. I used one of the lovely Gorjuss Girl images that the also very lovely Vicky sent me for my Birthday {thank you so much Vicky} and coloured her with Copic markers then cut out, mounted to base with 3d foam pads. The base is simply a sheet of Bazzill Pinkini CS {available from Dies to Die for} added to a white card blank then a panel of patterned paper from the Basic Grey Urban Prairie pack added on top. Message stamped {from the Elzybells Little Hello set} and Prima flowers added to the corner with Pearls.

Heidi

This card has been inspired by the gorgeous cards that Stacey has been making over at The Crafting Adventures of a Left-Handed Blonde. I have used the very cute CC Designs Heidi stamp, coloured her with Copics and cut out using a Nestabilities Label Four Die. Added to base with 3d foam pads. The base has been made by layering a sheet of Core'dinations CS and then a layer of Daisy Bucket 'Lucy' paper. Pebbles Candy Dots added to finish. The stamp, DP and Nesties are all available from the lovely Tracy at Dies to Die for. She also has loads of new stamps in including Bilmalarna, Fairy Doodles and Magnolia and the new MME pads.

Happy Birthday Jules!

It is the wonderful Jules's Birthday today, I hope you got the card in time Jules and are having a lovely day! I know Jules has an obsession with cupcakes so I wanted to make her card cupcake related! I used the very cute image from the CC Designs Gingersnaps Celebration Set - available at Dies to Die for and coloured with Copic markers and mounted to pink CS then added to base with 3d foam pads. The base is a piece of cupcake Doodlebug paper added to a white card blank with a strip of lemon CS added across which has been cut using my SU Scallop border punch, message stamped {from the Hero Arts Birthday Messages Set} and punched out using an SU oval punch {both punches available from the lovely Jules herself!}. Gem stones added to finish.

It is the lovely Stacey's Birthday today and this is the card I made for her. I used my new The Cat's Pajamas stamps that I got last week for the card. I have stamped the penguins out and coloured with Copics, cut out with Nestabilities dies and added to the base with 3d foam pads. The base is simply a white square card blank with a layer of DB 'Dragonfly' CS added on top, message stamped from the same set and Gem stones added to the corners. Elzybells Challenge 22 - Country's Colours

The challenge over at Elzybells this fortnight is to make a card using the colours of your country's flag. For for the UK it is red, white & blue! I have to apologise for the late posting as what with all the Birthday celebrations this month I completely forgot that this challenge was today so I hang my head in shame and I hope that you will forgive me Elizabeth. Right on to the card ... I stamped 'Boy Footie' out and coloured him with Copics, mounted to blue CS and added to base with 3d foam pads. The base is simply a white card blank with a lyer of red CS added, Pebbles Inc Candy Dots added to the strip and the greeting stamped from the Mini Messages Little Hello set. Martha Stewart Punches

I know how many people love these so I thought I would let you know that Tracy over at Dies to Die for has had a new delivery of these babies including the sought after Valentines lace punch.

A while ago I received some lovely awards, these first two are from the lovely Vicky, thank you so much hun, I really appreciate them and thank you for being my blogging friend :0)

The whole thing started with the movie "Pay it forward". The role model of Haley Joel Osment, gives a great deed to another person. The only attach to the one who receives it, is that he/her has to promise to give something that matters to others. A simple demand, that may not be as simple that it sounds? Someone has now taken this principle further, and made it into a gift. The rules are simple - everyone can join, and only 3 rules have to be fulfilled:

1. You must have your own blog, so that you can spread the message.

2. You must like to make others happy.

3. You must ship your 3 gifts within the next 365 days.
