VIDEO | 1 Stamp, 3 Ways Collab

Hello there, today I am taking part in a fun collaboration with Kim Dellow and Sharon Curtis. We thought it would be fun to use the same stamp set and see what we all create using it.

We are using the Eclectica 3 EKD03 stamp set by Kim Dellow for PaperArtsy. I guess the set is aimed more for the mixed media field, but I thought it would be fun to use in a clean and simple way.

I started off by stamping the image on to a piece of white cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I then cut this out using the largest of the SSS Stitched Rectangle dies. The panel was then coloured using Copic Markers (the colours used are listed below the supplies section).

I took the sentiment from the Clearly Besotted Many Mini Messages set and stamped it on to more white cardstock with the same Memento Tuxedo Black ink. This was then cut out. I adhered the image panel to a white 5"x5" card base with foam tape. I then popped the sentiment piece up with foam tape also. To finish off, I added Spectrum Noir Sparkle Pen to the inside portions of the flowers and then coated them with Glossy Accents.

You Are Kind Of Amazing

Hello there, I wanted to make an encouragement type of card for my mum last week. I thought the WPlus9 Unforgettable stamp set would be perfect for it. I just love that sentiment and of course, who can resist those cute elephants?!

I started off by stamping the elephant and the balloon on to a piece of white cardstock. I then stamped the sentiment beside. I made some masks for the elephant and balloon with masking paper, cut these out and placed them over the stamped images. I then masked off the rest of the card panel, leaving  strip open. I also cut a few clouds from masking paper also. I wanted straight bottom clouds so I just cut off their bottoms!

I then took my Copic Airbrush system and applied B00 and B000 on to the strip of cardstock that was exposed. I then removed all the masks. The clouds, elephant and balloon were then coloured with Copic Markers. I adhered the panel to a white A2 card base with foam tape.

VIDEO | Card Making Haul - September 2016

Hello there, today I have my September card making haul to share with you. Since I made the order with SSS this month, I don't have a huge amount to share with you but of course, I did get a few bits.

I was really excited to see that Avery Elle have brought out new storage pockets for stamps and dies. I love mine for the 'normal' sized stamp sets and I am now excited to be able to store my larger sets in the new extra large pockets! :) I know storage isn't as exciting for everyone as it is for me, so I have a few other bits to show too! Here is what I purchased, along with a few items that I was sent at the end:

VIDEO | Christy's Celebration Video Hop

Hello there, today I have the pleasure of taking part in Christy's Celebration Video Hop. She recently surpassed 10k subscribers on You Tube and kindly asked lots of designers and myself, to take part in a video hop. There are of course, lots of prizes to be won and I will share more on that later.

For my card, I started off with a panel of white cardstock cut using the largest of the WPlus9 Gift Card layers dies. I then took the Create a Smile Waves of Stars stencil and placed this over the top. I then took some Texture Paste and mixed this with glitter. This was applied over the stencil.

I took the Sugar Pea Designs Celebrate die and cut this three times from white cardstock. I applied Distress Inks in rainbow colours on to one of the die cuts and then spritzed with a mixture of Perfect Pearls and water. The die cuts were then layered up. I took the sentiment from the Sugar Pea Designs Celebrate All The Things stamp set and stamped this on to black cardstock with Versamark ink. I then applied white embossing powder and heat set. This was cut out in to a banner.

I adhered the texture paste panel on to a white A2 card base with ATG and then added the embossed sentiment on top. The celebrate word was added on top with clear foam tape. To finish off, I added a few Sparkling Clear sequins.
