I'll Always Have Your Back

Hello there and a very Happy Mother's Day to all the mum's out there :) I am here today to share the card I made for my mum this year. I have used the super cute I'll Always Have Your Back stamp set from Stamping Bella.

I started off with a panel of white cardstock that was cut using an MFT Wonky Stitched Rectangle die. Using a Stamp-a-ma-jig, I stamped the elephant image along with the sentiment, using black ink. These were then coloured using Copic Markers.

The panel was adhered to an A2 top folding landscape card base made from MFT Grape Jelly cardstock, using foam tape. To finish off, I added clear Wink of Stella to the flower.

COPIC MARKERS - Elephants: W6, W5, W4, W3, W2, W1, W0, E30. Flower: V17, V15, V12, YG17, YG23, YG03. Grass: YG67, YG17, YG23, YG03, YG01, G40. Sky: B00, B000, B0000.

I quite often do not use the sentiment stamps that come with images like these and prefer to use a generic sentiment instead. For this card, I decided to use the sentiment to let my mum know that I am always there for her. I did stamp 'happy mother's day' on the inside though. Thanks so much for visiting me today. I hope you have a lovely day!

  9. Michelle - I had to smile when I looked at this card. The elephants are so cute and the babyu elephant looks as though he is holding onto his mother's tail. I bet your mom got a big smile when she saw the card. Thanks for sharing.
