Easter Egg Plushies

Hello there and happy Good Friday. Today I have something slightly different to share. Yesterday I shared using the SSS Easter Egg die for a shaker, today I am sharing the die used to make felt plushies.

I started off by cutting the egg shape twice from felt and then another piece to use at the bottom. These were stitched together and before closing it up, I added soft toy filling.

I then took the leaves from the same die set and stitched these separately. I also used the Memory Box Plush Flower Buttons and stitched these also, as well as the Plush Little Heart (on one of the eggs). These were then added to the eggs using a hot glue gun.

I think these are so pretty and I am really looking forward to making more for other occasions. It was very therapeutic sitting and stitching them. I hope the recipients like them! Thank you so much for visiting me today, wishing you all a very happy Easter.

  2. Oh wow! These are fabulous! I love how you've done them in two different colours with the flowers across the middle. I have a whole bag of soft toy stuffing from making teddy bears years ago, now it could come in handy again! Xx
