Easter Blessings Shaker

Hello there, I bought the SSS Plush Easter Egg die to use with felt but I also thought it would be great to use as a full shaker card.

I started off by cutting the egg three times, once using white cardstock (for the back panel), once with a piece of patterned paper and once using a sheet of acetate. The three pieces were stitched together using floss and before I went all the way around, I added in some Sweet Easter Sparkly Shaker Mix from Lucy's Little Things - so cute!

I stamped the daffodils from the Clearly Besotted You Are Wonderful set on to some white cardstock. These were coloured using Copic Markers and then fussy cut. This was added to the shaker front using clear foam tape. The sentiment, from the Clearly Besotted Many Mini messages set, was stamped on more cardstock and cut out. This was added on top of the daffodils.

I have to say, I really enjoyed making this card. It was a little more effort with all of the hand stitching but I think it was worth it and I hope the recipient likes it! Thank you so much for visiting me today, I hope you have a lovely day!
