An Acorn of Thanks

Hello there and happy Sunday to you! I hope you are having a great weekend so far. I am here today to share a card I made for a friend, using the new Clearly Besotted Little Things stamp set.

I started off by stamped the leaves on to a panel of white cardstock. I used PTI Spring Moss ink for the main portion and then added a little PTI Simply Chartreuse ink around the edges for a bit of depth. I then stamped the acorns in the same way, using Classic Kraft and Dark Chocolate PTI inks. The sentiment, from the CB Many Mini Messages set, was stamped using black ink.

For the card base, I die-cut a border using the middle sized die from the CB Scallop Edges collection using some PTI Spring Moss cardstock. This was added to an A2 card base made from PTI Kraft cardstock. The white panel was then added to the right hand side. To finish off, I added a little clear Wink of Stella to the acorns.

  1. Can I tell you, it looks lovely here, but is absolutely stunning in real life! It's sitting on my craft desk and I smile when I see it. I smiled when I read your post because I wondered if you'd used PTI inks!! Thank you so much again. It's absolutely beautiful. Xx
