Bright Birthday

Hello there, I am back to share one of the cards I have made using the background pieces I created last week. These were from the Background Check class by Online Card Classes. I will share my first two cards this week and the other two next week.

This card uses the background piece of from day one. I started off with a piece of white cardstock and blended over Tim Holtz Distress Inks in Picked Raspberry, Abandoned Coral and Spiced Marmalade. I then places the SSS Flower Pattern stencil over the top and wipes some of the ink away with a baby wipe. The panel was then run through my Cuttlebug with the stencil to emboss the pattern.

This panel was cut down to size and adhered to a white A2 card base with ATG. I then cut two circles using the MFT Circle Stax dies; one from white cardstock and one from vellum. I adhered the vellum piece on to the base with ATG. The 'happy birthday' sentiment, from the SSS Big Scripty Greetings stamp set, was stamped on to the white circle with Versafine Onyx Black ink. This was added to the vellum circle with foam tape.

SUPPLIES:

Here are the links to what I have used on the card. Please click on the picture or wording to be taken to where I purchased it. Affiliate links are used on some products. This means that if you make a purchase after clicking on my link, I receive a small commission with no extra cost to you. I truly appreciate your support when using these links.

Since the background is bright, I decided the card did not need any embellishments. What do you think? Thank you so much for visiting me today, I hope you will pop back tomorrow for my next card. Have a great day!
