Scribble Flowers

Hello there, today I have a card using the Scribble Flower set from Simon Says Stamp, to share with you. I love the simple nature of the images but I think the scribble-ness gives the images a little more.

I first took a panel of white cardstock and cut this using my favourite die, Mama Elephant Femme Frames. I then took the flower heads, stems and leaves from the Scribble Flower set and stamped these with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. These were coloured with Copic Markers. I was inspired to be bolder with my halo's/outside shading, by the amazing Kathy Racoosin.

The sentiment, from the Clearly Besotted Many Mini Messages set, was stamped on to a separate piece of cardstock and cut out. This was added to the panel with foam tape. The panel was adhered flat to a Lavender card base with my ATG. The base was run through my Cuttlebug using the PTI Linen Embossing Plate. I finished off the card by adding a few Doodlebug Sprinkles and adding some Wink of Stella (clear) to the flower heads and leaves.
