Have A Great Day

Hello there, good morning! I am a little late to the party with this one but here is my card for lasts week's CASE Study #200 Challenge. I loved Shari Carroll's card so I had to take part (even being late!).

I have first taken a white CS panel and added a circle die cut using the SSS Cake & Congrats Die Collection from AE Sorbet paper. I have then cut a little banner edge from the same paper using the CBS Tag Along Die Collection, this has been added to the top of the panel.

I have added the panel with foam tape on to a white card base. The sentiment from the CBS A Little Sentimental set has been stamped and cut in a strip and popped over the base. The flower has been stamped from the CBS Pretty Petals Plus stamp set using SSS Mint ink and then cut using the matching die set. A dash of WOS added on top followed by some Doodlebug sequins and MME enamel dots.

Thanks so much for visiting me today, I hope you are having a lovely week so far. Have a great day!

New Home

Hello there, did you have a nice weekend? I am back today with a new home card that I have made for my lovely friend Marlou. I have first taken a panel of white CS and applied a strip of Doodlebug paper followed by a strip of CS to it. I have then taken the PS Stitched Tag and cut this from more white CS. I have die cut various images from the WPlus9 Folk Art Florals Die Collection using Bazzill CS and arranged them on the tag to make a little scene.

For the leaves I have added a little Copic Marker for some shading and then added some clear WOS to the cute little bird. I have added some floss to the tag and then popped it up with foam tape on the panel which has been added to an A2 card base. I have finished off with the sentiment from the Clearly Besotted A Little Sentimental Stamp Set.

Craft Mojo Haul - July 2014

Hello there, here is the last of my catch-up haul videos. This one is from Craft Mojo. I bought the majority of these items in June but a couple at the beginning of July too. If you follow me on Instagram or my Facebook Page you will have already seen the Doodlebug Vellum but I am absolutely in love with it! It is so pretty! Here is what else I got:

Butterfly Overlay

Have I told you how much I love these butterfly dies from Clearly Besotted? I am guessing a few of you do too as they sold out very quickly during the last release! I couldn't resist having a play again. I have simply cut the solid image from Doodlebug Sprinkles Vellum (love this stuff!) and then added the top (outline image) on top cut from white cardstock.

This top layer have also had the obligatory layer of WOS applied before adding to the card panel. I have stamped the sentiment from the Sweet Little Sentiments set below and popped the panel up on foam tape on to a card base.

Using & Organising Swatches

Hello there, today I thought I would share with you how I am organising my swatches. A little while ago Jennifer McGuire kindly shared downloads for making swatches for your ink pads. I loved the fact that they were printed so they were neat and tidy ... you know I am all about the clean lines ;)

I decided to go ahead and make swatches for all my ink pads as well as my Distress Markers, Wink of Stella pens, mists, embossing powders and my watercolours are in there also. At the back I have swatches of my two most used cardstocks - Papertrey Ink and Bazzill Cardshoppe. I have the little 2x2" cardstock squares kept in the Simple Stories Insta Pockets and those all kept in the binder (thank you to Stephanie Klauk for the idea). The binder fits nicely on the top shelf of my Raskog :)

Here is one of the pages for my TH Distress Inks, I love how pretty it looks:

Here is a video showing all the pages:

I hope this might help any of you who haven't already seen this idea from Jennifer. I have been using it for a little while now it has really helped me in choosing inks and cardstocks and knowing the names of the them. I can also see quickly at a glance which supplies I have. Thanks so much for visiting me today :)
