Antique Engraved Butterfly

Hello there, today I have a card to share using the same Chevron Rectangle stencil that I used on this card that I made using the Cricut Explore. This time I have used the stencil with embossing paste and kept the paste a little but more rustic than I usually do. On a separate sheet of CS I have stamped the butterfly from the HA Antique Engravings stamp set with TH Peacock Feathers Distress Ink and then gone over it with a waterbrush. Once dried I also went over it with the clear WOS brush. The butterfly has then been cut out and added to the embossing paste panel.

I have then stamped the sentiment from the HA Classic Messages set and cut this out. This has been added to the panel with clear foam tape. The panel has been added to a white card base with foam tape and then I have added a few Doodlebug sequins and rhinestones.

Thank you so much for visiting me today, hope you are all well. There is still time to enter my giveaway if you haven't already here. Have a lovely day!

Rosie Posie Watercolour

Hello there, sorry I haven't been around for a few days. I have been creating but nothing I can share with you just yet. I have a card today though that was inspired by the recent OCC Watercolour For Card Makers. I have taken a piece of TH Watercolor CS and cut it using the ME Femme Frames rectangle die. I have then stamped the flowers and leaves from the PTI Rosie Posie stamp set in various TH Distress Inks and I have gone over it with water and a brush to blend and then gone in with a little bit more colour on top.

Once dried I have added some clear WOS. The sentiment from the PTI Fillable Frames set is stamped below and then I have added some rhinestones. The panel has been added to a pink card base with foam tape.

I just wanted to say thank you for all the lovely birthday messages I have received since my last post. If you haven't already entered my giveaway you can do so in the post directly below this one. I have loved hearing what all your favourite stamp companies are so far. Thanks so much for visiting me today :)

Birthday Candy & YT Subscriber Giveaway

Hello there, so every year I give away a small amount of candy to celebrate my birthday. Well this year I thought I would combine it with a You Tube Subscriber (I am almost at 2000 subscribers!) giveaway as well so the prize is bigger for all :D
I am giving away a £30 e-gift card to Clearly Besotted Stamps (they ship internationally) as well as a $25 e-gift card to Simon Says Stamp (they also ship internationally).
*Note: I know that there are some of you reluctant to order from the US due to shipping costs etc. (if you live internationally from them), which is quite understandable, the $25 will cover your shipping costs so I hope that will help)* There will also be a slight delay on receiving the SSS voucher as they are working on getting them back available to purchase, I wanted to still include it as they expect they will be available within three weeks*
So the giveaway is open worldwide and will close on the 1st June 2014 at 08.00 (UK time). All you have to do is enter below using Rafflecopter. You will get one entry for answering a question in the comments (this the normal comment section on this blog post, you just have to say you did it in the rafflecopter. I also have moderation on my comments so it will not appear straight away but will say at the top 'comment awaiting moderation') - the question is: what are your favourite stamp companies, and also you will receive another entry if you are subscribed to my You Tube channel - so you will have double the chance of wining :) I will announce the winner both here on my blog and on my YT channel. Good luck!
a Rafflecopter giveaway
I just want to thank you ALL for your continued support, whether it be here on my blog, my you tube channel or both. As well as you all who follow me on my Facebook Page, Pinterest and Instagram - you ROCK!! :D Hope you have a great day!

Quatrefoil Background

Hello there, today I am catching up on some Online Card Classes watercolor for card makers homework. I wanted to make a resist background so I first stamped the Impression Obsession Quatrefoil stamp on some watercolour cardstock with Versamark ink and heat embossed with white EP. I then went over the piece with watercolours in purple and pink hues. Once dried, I went over the piece with a clear WOS brush in the coloured parts.

I then adhered this to a white card base with foam tape. I die cut a SSS Tilted banner from white CS and stamped the sentiment from the CBS Lovely Labels set on top. The right side has been cut down and then added to the card with foam squares. I have finished off with some Doodlebug sequins and gems.

As always thank you so much for visiting my blog today. I hope you have an amazing weekend. My Birthday is tomorrow so I will be back then with some Birthday candy! :D

Hello there, as soon as I saw this super cute set from Mama Elephant I knew I wanted it but I did hold out to see if I could resist but of course, I didn't resist for long! For my card I have first taken a piece of white CS and cut it out with the rectangle from the ME Femme Frames set. I have then stamped the cut panda on top and coloured lightly with Copic Markers.
I have then stamped the balloon and string from the CBS Make A Wish set and the sentiment is from the Lovely Labels set. I have added a little clear WOS to the balloon and then added the panel to a Bazzill Cardshoppe Robin's Egg card base with foam tape.

COPIC MARKERS: C1, R000, C2, C1.
I am loving all Mama Elephant at the moment! Thanks so much for visiting me today. Hope you are all doing well.
