Hello there and welcome to a new Clearly Besotted Challenge. The challenge this month is a colour challenge. We want you to use all or some of these beautiful colours ...
I have to admit I do struggle with colour challenges sometimes but in this case the inspiration picture really helped. I took out my Think Of You set and used the orchid image. My purples came out a little pink toned compared to the picture but I hope that's ok. I first took a sheet of white PTI CS (you can use this for watercolours if you do not use too much water) and stamped and embossed the image on to it. I then cut the right side of it off going around the side of the image.
I have coloured the image using TH Distress Markers as watercolours and then added a little clear WOS in certain parts. The sentiment from the Fabulous Fuchsias set has been stamped in SSS Fog ink (it is a little difficult to see it in the photo but in real life it matches the PP perfectly and is more noticeable). I have then taken this panel and added it to a white card base (with 3D foam tape) which has a strip of fawn coloured polka dotted paper down the side. I have then finished off with a few rhinestones.
DISTRESS MARKERS: Dusty Concord, Milled Lavender, Spun Sugar, Tattered Rose, Shabby Shutters
The winner of the challenge will receive a £30 Clearly Besotted e-gift card. Full details on the challenge are over on Stephanie's blog as well as the amazing cards from the rest of the DT. I hope you can join us! Thanks so much for visiting me today. I really do appreciate you taking the time.
