Die-ing For A Challenge - January 2013

Here is my card I have made for the lastest Die-Ing For A Challenge which is 'Anything Goes'. For my card I have used the Lily Bee Designs Persnickey Tiny Tablet for the papers and cut the middle panel at a diagonal. The sentiment from the MFT Die-Namics First Place Award set has been stamped in Memento Gray Flannel ink. The papers have been wrapped with natural twine (from DTDF but unable to link at present), tied with a button and added to the base with 3D adhesive. The card is based on the Retrosketches #46 sketch.

Thanks so much for vsiiting me today, have a great day!

Warm Wishes

Hi there, today I have made two little cards using the Clearly Besotted Stamps Warm Wishes stamp set. Thought it was quite apt considering the weather at the moment!

Sorry for not being around. I have been having some issues in my personal life which meant I haven't been able to craft. I am hoping that will be all sorted out soon. Have a great rest of your weekend and stay warm!

Hi there, sorry but I am back with another card using the fab Clearly Besotted Stamps Butterfly Dreams die! I am just in LOVE I tell you! This time I have used it to create an apature in the CS and then added the piece on to the card base with 3D squares. The gorgeous sentiment is from the Once Upon A Time set.

Thanks so much for visiitng me today, the next card will be something other than the die I promise! Do you all have snow where you are? There has been a light dusting here in Surrey but not much at all. I have ordered a pair of wellies from Amazon though just to be on the safe side!! Have  agreat day!

Thank you so much for visiting me today, apologies for the dark photo's. The sun hasn't made an appearance in Surrey yet today and it doesn't look like it will either! Have a great day whatver you are up to.

Butterfly Circles

I am back with another thank you card made using Clearly Besotted Stamps. For my card today I have used the Building Blocks set to stamp on the circles using Versamark to give a lovely effect I think. I have also used the new Butterfly Dreams Die cut from vellum to add on top and the sentiment is from the Happy Everything set.

Thank you so much for visiting me today and I wanted to say a big thank you to all those who watched my video on alligning stamps with co-ordinating dies and left me a loevly comment. I am glad to have given some of you some help :0) Have a great day!

Aligning Stamps With Co-Ordinating Dies

Hi all, I have had a few requests to show how I use stamps with co-ordinating dies. There two main ways to do it; First you could cut the die out and then stamp over it directly, a stamp positioner would be helpful for this method or the method I use I use is to stamp the image first and then make a template with the die and cut it out. Using this method you can get a perfect placement of the stamped image inside the die cut.
Here is the video showing how I do it:

I forgot to add in the video that you can also use the template you have made over and over again. I like to keep mine stored with the stamp set.

Hope this was helpful to a few of you, thank you so much for watching!
