Nephew Jake's 2nd Birthday

Here is the card I made for my nephew for this second birthday. I used the PTI Little Hot Rod stamp set along with the dies, as he likes trains. I added the little two in the train smoke cloud using the MFT Banner Alphabet set.

SUPPLIES USED:

So since Jake's birthday falls near Halloween, my brother and SIL decided to make his birthday party Halloween themed and we all had to dress up. I dressed as Morticia Addams from the Addams Family, so I thought I would leave you with a photo ...

Feel free to laugh as much as you like! :0) I did win the Best Costume trophy though, so it was worth it! lol Have a great rest of your weekend!

Boo's Fun - DTDF Challenge

Here is my card I made for the latest challenge over at the Dies to Die for Blog. The challenge this month is Halloween/Monsters. I saw these ghosts from CC Designs are fell in love, how cute are they? They remind me of Casper the Friendly Ghost! So I have coloured the one holding the pumpkin in with Copic Markers and cut out; I have added it to a circle cut using a MFT Die-Namics Circle Stax die on Doodlebug Beetle Black CS with 3D foam pads. This has in turn been mounted with 3D foam pads to the card base. The base is simply two sheets from the Echo Park The Apothecary Emporium pad mounted to more black CS and twine wrapped around. Bazzill Jewels added to finish.

One Layer Butterflies

A while ago I saw this amazing card by Maile Belles and knew I had to re-create it somehow. So I have used the beautiufl butterflies from the Cleary Besotted Stamps Butterfly Wishes set and stamped them along the side of a card base. I then cut the side with scissors following the line of the butterfly wings. The stamped greeting is part from the Butterfly Wishes set (the happy) and part from the Happy Everything set (the birthday). Jewels added to finish. I am entering this card in to this week's Less Is More challenge of wings (haven't played along on a while and couldn't resist using butterflies for wings even if it is predictable!).

SUPPLIES:

Thanks so much for visiting today, sorry for the rubbish photo's. I am having really bad problems with the lighting in my craft room at the moment due to the darker days. Anyway, hope you have  a lovely Sunday. I have re-drawn my giveaway so please check below if you are a new winner. Thanks!
