Happy Birthday Julia!

Yesterday was Julia's Birthday and as I know she has now received the card, I can post it here. I have used WOF Henry Celebrating Mouse again this time in shades of pink as I know Julia loves pink! Henry has been stamped and coloured with Copics then cut out and added to a Nesties Label One die with 3D foam pads. The Nesties label has been sprayed with Copics using the Airbrush System {I know I need a LOT more prcatice with this but I do like the effect} The nestie has then been added to the base with 3d foam pads as well. The base has been made by running a piece of SU! Regal Rose CS through my Cuttlebug using the Swiss Dots embossing floder and wrapping SU! Chocolate Chip ribbon around. Message stamped and cut out using Nesties label die and Copic airbrushed also. Gem stones added to finish. Hope you had a great day Julia!

In the Cookies Of Life ...

Woohoo! Release day is here! For my last sneak peek I am showing you another sample made using the Just Desserts set. For my sample I have made a cookie holder following a Lauren Meader My Timeless Template. I have made the holder out of SU! Chocolate Chip CS, rounded the corners with a punch and punched a circle out as the handle. Elzybells girl stamped, coloured in with Copics, cut out and mounted to the front of the holder with 3D foam pads, isn't she cute?! I have decorated the other side using Maya Road velvet and sheer blooms. Velvet flowers added with gems stones and the sheer bloom added with MM button and linen thread. To hold the holder together I have added Chocolate Chip ribbon and off white organza ribbon by Ribbon Oasis.

For the inside I have made a pouch for my cookie using Whisper White CS and a strip of Chocolate Chip. A MR velvet flower and Prima flower added to the strip with a button and linen thread. Message stamped to the side. I have popped my cookie in a PTI glassine bag and added to the pouch. I think this is a very cute idea to give to friend who may be a bit down and who doesn't like cookies?! I hope you have enjoyed seeing my sneak peeks as well as all the other DT members, so what are you waiting for? go buy!!

Thanks A Latte

This is probably my favourite card I have made for this Elzybells release, it is so simple but I love it even if I do say so myself! It is using the Cool Beans set again and this time I have used the little coffee mug and stamped it on to a a piece of Kraft CS, message stamped at the bottom then added to a white card blank. A strip of white which has been punched using the SU! scallop border punch added accross the middle and ribbon wrapped around which has been secured at the side with a button and some linen thread {I saw this detail on Nicole Heady's blog and I thought it was so cute!} So only one more sleep till the new stamps are released, do you know what sets you are going to buy? I hope you can join me tomorrow for the release day and my last sneak peek for you!

Elzybells Challenge 13

This fortnight the challenge over at Elzybells has been made by the fabulous Paula and it is a hard one ... well for me anyway! ... it is single layered. You can use embellies but the rest has to all be on one layer. So, with that in mind I ummed and ahhed for a while and came up with this. I have fisrt run through my card blank through my cuttlebug embossing the front with one of the Nestabilies rectangles. I have then stamped the lovely flowers image in the centre and coloured in with my Copics adding gem stones to the centres of the flowers. Finally I have stamped the image down the side. Simple but cute I think!! Make sure you check out all the other DT creations over at Elizabeth's blog.
